    • The Louvre Salon & Spa - Fairview Heights Payton Denzer: Yesterday I booked an appointment for a blow out style for a funeral I was attending. 9am was my appointment time, before I went to sleep saw the appointment was for 9-9:45 so with the amount of hair I have I prepared by washing my hair the night previous to the appointment and made sure I was dry, once I had arrived I had mentioned that I wasn’t sure the appointment time was appropriate, and she assured me they she could get it done. Before I left I had mentioned a couple things I was not happy with (the amount of frizz and the dampness of my hair). She assured me it was “just cold” however went over a small section in the back, as well as quickly went over the front “money pieces with a straighter she just turned on so it wasn’t even hot. After the “attempted” fix I was not in the mood to keep mentioning things (and was unaware of what the back look like) so I left. Once I arrived home my friend took a look and showed me that the underside was damp and starting to wave like my natural texture. Once I saw this I promptly called to mention the state of my hair since I paid for a service and got these terrible results. The owner then argued with me that her work was fine, that with the amount of hair I have it was worth more than what I paid. I mentioned that she did not have an option to book above shoulder length or below so I was unable to pay more for my service. However before the service she did not mention the amount of hair I had was a problem. She let me know that she had a spare 15 minutes at the moment that I could come back and pay more money to have her flat iron my hair, and at the point I was already 30 minutes away at my home. Or I could come back at 4pm which was the time of my function. After arguing with me about my hair she told me she would refund me the money for the service and not the tip. This place has horrible customer service and I will never be returning. (These photos were taken by another stylist before they fixed my hair)

    Yellow Rose Styling Salon - Belleville Sophia Williams: Have been going here my whole life, Mary is so friendly and funny too, she gives great quality haircuts, a master at perms, and wonderful at doing natural colors on hair. She tells you about all the pros and cons of the different hair services, because damaging hair is something Mary does not do. I love the small shop vibe, it’s very personable, and like I said Mary is really funny which keeps you entertained ( she’s basically a stand up comedian and a hair dresser in one) She also is very very adorable, I’ve spent way more money at other salons and they still didnt even compare to the service an and quality Mary gave. 10 out of 10 recommended always

    Mimis Professional Stylists, Hair Braiding, & Salon - Belleville Jasmyn Steele: I’ve gotten my hair did twice with them before! The first time my hair was done perfect! Second experience was sooooo horrible!! Both times I received micro braids. The second time she made the middle of my hair have pixie sized braids and used less weave which made the braid basically be my real hair and when i complained she blamed it on my hair being too thick and if I wanted more weave used I would have to pay extra for the weave plus pay extra since my hair was thick. I told her I could pay for the outer edge area of braids being done but I wanted my money back. Mimi wanted to argue so i got on the phone with my mom and her story changed. On their card it expresses they will have your hair did within 8 hours but I was there for 12.
    Shine Hair Company - Belleville Temeka Lilton: I have ordered hair from Tierra twice. Tierra has quality bundles. Both times I’ve ordered hair Tierra professionalism was top notch! It is definitely appreciated. Tierra was very responsive with all the questions I had. The services was very prompt for pick up. I appreciate things like this because you do not receive this from everyone. Thanks Tierra!

    Spa Demi - Belleville Aisha Franco: OMG! I cannot say enough wonderful things about Demi. I went to see her to get waxed and it was an absolute amazing experience. Not only does she explain everything that she’s doing, she also made me feel both comfortable and relaxed. I highly recommend Spa Demi.
    Great Clips - Belleville jennifer groce: We went in for shampoo and blow dry, not realizing they dont offer it. My daughter and I got haircuts instead. They were quick and friendly!
