3 /5 Christine Hatfield: On one hand... its Platos Closet. It was about what youd expect in terms of atmosphere, and when I needed a fitting room I got one in seconds without even needing to ask.
On the other hand... even by Platos Closet standards the prices felt inflated, and while maybe it was down to the time of year I visited, the womens selection felt a little riduculous. The vast majority of womens short sleeve shirts seemed to be the kind of shirt designed to show off your midriff.
Lets be clear -- I have no problem with that as a design. Theres something to be said for it! But for a significant chunk of the shirts, if not most of them, to fall into that category, feels kind of dismissive of the many other ways girls make fashion work over the summer months.
Also, way too much Shein on the racks, which feels less than ideal for a resale shop where youre looking for things thatre going to last.
Id come back and look again, but this time I left without buying anything.
