Vivian Skelley I received the worse haircut!! I had to go to another salon and pay to get it fixed. Very disappointed!

Frider Blunck I normally don’t leave negative reviews, but my recent visit to Great Clips in Charleston, IL was truly disappointing. I came in with a reference photo and clearly asked for the haircut to be left longer than what was shown. Instead, the stylist rushed through the cut in about 10 minutes and somehow managed to make it even shorter than the already-short picture.
The result? A choppy, uneven haircut that wasn’t properly blended on one side and drew unwanted attention to my receding hairline—something I specifically tried to avoid. It was obvious that there was little care or attention to detail, which left me feeling extremely self-conscious.
I went to Great Clips to save money, but now I’ll have to spend extra to get it fixed somewhere else. What was supposed to be an affordable option turned out to be a frustrating and expensive mistake.
Unfortunately, I won’t be returning to Great Clips, and I hope others have a better experience than I did.

Ann Carlberg We went here in Oct the day BEFORE our wedding so my husband could get a trim. The blonde woman butchered his hair and left it uneven. I had to go back inside and explain that this was not acceptable and they needed to fix it. She was in the back and would not come back out. Another worker had to fix her mistakes. The other employees there are great and very nice, but this woman needs to go back to beauty school.
