Kurt Stepping My visit in March of 2023 was my first since becoming over 65 years of age and using Medicare and a dental supplement from a national carrier. Since they have chosen to NOT participate in any dental networks they can charge what they want and not have to meet insurance industry standards for dental service rates. I was immediately told that they would NOT submit a claim for me and that I would have to pay in full at the time of service. This is the thanks I get after years of good payment history and no outstanding balance at this time of service. I do have to say though that the level of dental care has always been outstanding from Dr Eric and Dr Nicole. When I try to submit my carriers form it is complicated and not necessarily suited for someone who is not trained for this. The extra hassle of submitting my own claims is just not worth it to me and I will be pursuing a different provider who will meet the insurance industry rate standards and submit claims. Just to be clear my rating is because of the claims issue and not the level of dental care.

Amy Hamblin I have went to Dr Donlan Sr when I was a little girl and had a disorder and now my daughter goes here with Dr. John Jr and she has the same disorder. They have literally been a Godsend for my family and I! They have helped my daughter gain her confidence back and were so kind, funny and understanding along the way!! I can’t thank them enough!!

Debbie Engstrom The Smile Center has very courteous office, assistants and hygienist. The dentist is very professional and friendly, with very up to date technology to accomplish all dental care. She accesses what is needed, explains it and lets the patient decide when they want to have it done. I would recommend this office to anyone no matter how young or further along in life a person is.

RaShaun Haynes The office is cute, clean and feels like home. The ladies at the front desk were extremely helpful and understanding. The check in/new patient process was smooth. Dr. Wright-Lowry explained everything to me in great detail but it was also easy to follow. Would definitely Recommend!

Keira Mahrt Doctor named Terra or something similar has curly hair alway either flings the bands in the back of my mouth or messes up my wire to which messes up my progress today it was both I have rubber bands she left it in the back of my thought and didn’t put the wire in the back hole on by molers this is a repeated issue

Marina Harris-Hardaway This is a very friendly practice with superb staff and flexible scheduling. Dr. DeGise was very gracious to allow my son to shadow him at the office while explaining many of the procedures and sharing facts about his own educational background. My son immediately felt comfortable at the office and thouroughly enjoyed his day. Both of my children have been Dr. DeGises patients and I would certainly recommend this practice to anybody.

Jim Jones Dr. Reed extracted my wisdom teeth. The process was painless after the injections. I was also very nervous and anxious. Dr reed took the time to answer my questions and put up with my nonsense. His staff was also very sweet and supportive. While I was not a very easy patient to work with because of my anxiety. Dr. Reed was beyond patient and very comforting. He even gave me his cell number in case I had any questions over the weekend. If you need extractions done I could not recommend anyone else in this area!! Thank you Dr. Reed for everything and especially for your saint like patience. Thanks to you I am on the road to recovery and I am feeling much better!!!!!!

Amber Sage I had my wisdom teeth removed with Dr. Reed and when it was time for my daughter to get hers removed I knew where she was going. Dr Reed explains everything, takes his time, and cares. Highly recommend!

Daniel Cox I have been going here since I was 5 years old (30 years). The staff is extremely friendly and treats you like family. The teeth cleanings are thorough and pain free. My wife and kids have also been going there for years now, and they also look forward to their visits. The kids have their pictures on the wall in waiting room and get to add a sticker to their picture after a trip with no cavities. I couldnt imagine going anywhere else for our dental needs.

Lindsay Egel I have been going to this dentist office for over 15 years. The staff treats you like family. The staff is genuine and knowledgeable. This is a honest, trust worthy business, always making decisions that is right for the patient. I highly recommend this office over any "pop-up" corporate dentist office.

Emilee Crotz My 3-year-old had an amazing experience with Dr. Jamie and her staff. She answered all of my questions and explained all the treatment options. Her assistants were very professional and personable. Everyone was very friendly and welcoming which is so important for a toddlers comfort!

Tom Google Doctor was nice but cant do math asked for half of 20 percent down on denture implants. Which I have the money to do but when each arch cost 29k to do. Half of 20 percent is not 9k and on top of that his nurse lady was rude, gave me attitude when there was no reason to. If your gonna try to bend people over at least try to be nice. Hell I probably still would have paid it if it wasnt for she being so dang rude to me.

Carolyn Sloan I had gum grafting done by Dr. Cusack. In my 60 years I’ve probably had the “normal” number of dental procedures and have never had Novocain administered so painlessly. I was amazed. From that point on I felt nothing at all—the procedure was quick and Dr. Cusack still asked how I was doing a couple of times. Dr. Cusack and his staff are personable and take the time to explain exactly what is going to happen and answer any questions. In the days following the procedure I had only slight “tension” and never pain in the graft area and pallet where the gum tissue was taken. Dr. Cusack even called the night after the graft to see how I was doing. I highly recommend this practice for periodontal needs!

Kelby Poplett Shawanna and Dr. D not only the but the whole staff at the Pekin location were amazing! I highly recommend going here for any dental needs! My 5 year old daughter had a bad tooth first time ever that was causing her great pain, we were in for no more than an hour they did her cleaning made it so much fun and put her at ease, the doctor was so kind and patient with her especially during the shot process! The removal was so fast I dont think she has time to even realize what had happened! Very kind with her although she had to have a tooth pulled she told me tonight she would love to go back! This time for just a cleaning but thank you so much for making this uneasy trip for this mom an amazing one! They got us in the same day forgot to mention that! 5 stars all around!

Ga H If you need to have an extraction done, Dr. Rashid is the only one to see. He took a wisdom tooth and a 2nd molar out in less than 5 minutes. Besides being so fast, it was almost painless. Not to mention he is also cheaper than most places. If you dont mind an old school setting & are looking for the best place for extractions, look no further.
