Kara Hanson Great local family owned hair salon. They do amazing work here. Fiona is one of the best. She does great work. My husband gets his hair cut here too and its always perfect! Keep up the great work!

19. 20 Every time when I go very quick, I close my ice and Im sure Honda person. They make it beautiful, same every time. Know any issues and cheap tanks? Appreciate them.

Kristofor simo I don’t know why people are giving this shop bad reviews. This is the best hair salon i’ve even been to. The communication is amazing and so is their talent. I 100% recommend this hair salon. Everyone that works there is very nice.

Chastity First time here. Very great experience. I asked for eyebrow threading, a tint and strip lashes for an event. Rimi did not disappoint! My brows looked so good! She took me care of me right away. Both ladies were super nice and patient. Highly recommended. I will most definitely be back for a facial.

Hana First few visits were fine but last visit was horrible it was closing time and the lady rushed so much that after coming home my skin was bleeding. I have let my eyebrows grow for a few weeks now to allow the skin to heal. The lady gives no breaks and is only wanting to finish threading within 5 minutes even when there are no clients and is middle of the day. The lady takes no directions when I say go slow it hurts. She does apply powder while threading. They have no cover for clothing protection and eyebrow hair falls all over my clothes. She does not even clean up the hair fallen over clients. I have to get up find a tissue and clean up. Then she has no patience while I am dusting off the hair she is ready at the counter to collect her payment. She does not even apply any healing cream post threading (which other salons do). Earlier eyebrow threading was $7, then suddenly hiked to $11 service charge. If any fair toned people walk in, she takes those clients first, even if people of color were first in line. She offers no greeting, does not even ask for water or for the coat to be taken to hang. Only thing is location is convenient but I rather go far for a better service.

Hilary V I 100% recommend Bri -- she was highly professional and is very skilled at what she does; a true artist. She took her time to hear what I was looking for and did an AMAZING job. I appreciated that she took her time and made sure it was literally perfect. You can tell she loves what she does as well! I will only ever go to Bri at Color Theory. Highly recommend!!! Great vibes, 5 stars!

Katelin Talsma I have been a customer of Color Theory for a few years and it has always been such a warm, friendly experience with plenty of expertise in all types of hair. Bri is wonderful - she went above and beyond to ensure a happy appointment. She KILLED my balayage and I will definitely be seeing her again!

D Sinks I had the poorest experience here with the stylists after they messed up my hair last night. I booked with this place over an hour away bc I saw their color work. I arrived from my 5:45 appt at 5:30 p.m. I was booked on the phone by Emily for a cut and color, she told me I was seeing Sam but ultimately they had me see Emily. She told me they may not have time for the cut depending on which color I am doing. I said this was fine as I understood. I provided reference photos, explicitly explained my hair texture length and color over the phone prior. Cass a senior stylist and Emily both explained to me what was achievable with my hair and we agreed to go solid orange. Upon bleach bath and color application the hair did not turn out right, even though I had been assured from the stylists that yes it was achievable and would turn out right. My hair was orange at the top and red at the bottom. I had started with red at the bottom meaning that they only were able to change 3-4 in. of hair at the root. Emily then told me a haircut was no longer possible. I just wanted the color right at least. A new stylist was brought in to help color correct the orange to red, which I did not want but was the only option provided to me besides coming back. I had cried at this point bc it was so bad. The new stylist & Emily color corrected my roots and I demanded that they cut my damaged hair. Emily explained for the trouble that she would round brush my hair at the end. The new stylist said that was not possible due to time. They tried to charge me full price for their mistake. I was never asked if I was okay or apologized to. They had no empathy for me after messing up my hair. I left with wet hair from this place like a dog. I have never been so uncared for in a salon. They were so ging along with the radio while I sat in their chair crying from their mistake. The only amends I got were " sorry you didnt get what you wanted". Please save yourself the trouble. I will be sending this to the owner, Brittany.

Jennifer Rybicki I got married yesterday on Valentines Day and Sladana came to the venue and did my hair. She is very polite, professional and talented. Her daughter did my make up as well. She is also very talented, the make up was amazing!! If I could give them 10 stars I would. Their prices are very budget friendly especially compared to other salons that want to charge you outrageous prices. Thanks to these great women I looked beautiful on my wedding day!!!

Shannon Bradley Kristine was the sweetest. She worked together with my boyfriend to create my perfect birthday. He surprised me with an appt to the salon. It was fun to get a cute up do and my makeup got a lot of compliments! I appreciate all the effort that went into making my birthday amazing this year!

Tiffany Bennett The scalp massage was wonderful! Amelia did a fantastic job and this was such a stress relief. The heated bed, heated eye mask, soft music and very dim lighting. Loved the neck, shoulder, arm and hand massage as well! My hair is SO soft and feels so clean. I will be back!

Jordan Dominguez I went to Scalpology Spa with my sister and mom for a Mother’s Day spa retreat and it was perfect! The girls were super sweet and talented. My treatment was so relaxing and just what I needed. I suffer from a dry scalp and I left feeling hydrated and refreshed. Amelia was my esthetician and she was excellent! She gave an incredible massage and educated me on the products used. Highly recommend!

Angela Rende I got the customized scalp treatment and it was AMAZING! Jayda did a great job and made sure I was comfortable and informed. The ambiance and massage was so relaxing and rejuvenating, exactly what I needed with the stress from school and work. As someone with fine hair who struggles with dandruff and greasy hair I was nervous, but Jayda did an amazing job and the service was tailored to me, so it is exactly what my hair needed. Would definitely recommend!!!

Stephanie Namyst I saw Dana for some fun colors !! And oh man did she deliver! Not only was the establishment very clean, she was very professional and on time ! Most places you book an appointment and they’re running late and on their phones. Still waiting an hour past your appointment time.. Not here ! The colors we chose were very vibrant bright colors which involved bleaching, I was extremely nervous to bleach my hair since I have only put color into my hair. Dana talked me down and assured me the process will take a couple visits, which I now understand is why ! When pulling color from dark hair, it will need a couple processes to get it light enough for the colors I wanted! I am absolutely in love with my hair and would 100% see Dana again and again ! :) 20 out 10 stars ⭐️ If I could ! Thank you for making my hair dreams come true ! When’s our next appointment ? Its a small salon, but nice & well-appointed. Caroline is the owner and is a warm & caring person - so the time spent in her chair is always a pleasure! Highly recommended for whatever hair process you need-she listens and then makes suggestions based on her many years of experience. .

Peter Haber Mike has kept me "looking good" for a few years now, and I receive nothing but compliments from friends, family, & co-workers after getting a hair cut! Nancy, Desiree and the rest of the staff not only treat you like family, but round out the salon with complete hair services (even for men)! Overall, youll be leaving "in style", with some complimentary donuts and coffee to boot on Saturdays! Highly recommend!

Kacey Sack-Wright If you need truly intuitive hair design with a class and panache that is bar none, you have to to see Desiree and Michael at New Image. You are pampered and appreciated in ways rarely demonstrated at other salons! It is a delightful experience that shouldnt be missed.

Leslie Walker I recently got a blow out at the new Drybar in Wheaton. Absolutely obsessed! It is such a great location in south Wheaton. The owner Brandi is so so sweet. I highly recommend getting your hair done here. So nice to do if you have an event coming up, or simply just want to get your hair done because you dont have the time, you can make it a nice treat or go with a friend! The blowout I got took about 45 minutes. I am currently on day 3 of my blow out and it still looks great.

Sarah Darling Nicole did a fantastic job! First time here and definitely plan on coming back! The girls at the front desk are a vibe, so friendly!! I have a lot of hair and it gets quite tangled. Nicole did an amazing job being gentle and got my hair nice and bouncy! Highly recommend!

Bella Gromacki I already see many visits to Drybar Wheaton in my future! The location is gorgeous and clean, inviting! The staff is super amazing and everyone is super attentive to detail. Brandi, the owner, is the absolute sweetest!! I had my blowout done by Andrea and she did an amazing job, exactly what I had asked for and envisioned! I’ll definitely be back and recommend to everyone! ☺️

Chris Coffman Stunning, brilliant, and perfect! Hair and makeup with Shaley and Marianna are just great. They are so kind, understanding and patient with myself as the bride and the additional people they did within the wedding party. They were so good at listening to the customers and making sure they succeeded with each person and adapting to who they were working with. I had asked for a more glam look with cat eyes and big lashes and there were other companies that told me they were not able to do that BUT NOT MXA! They were so excited to hear that and had no problem doing exactly what I wanted and that meant the world! It was one less thing I had to worry about and will suggest them to anyone who will listen.

Jessica Ashley and her team at MXA Beauty Bar were incredible to work with for my wedding day! I’ve truly never felt more beautiful than I did as a bride and she helped make that happen with the most beautiful bridal airbrush makeup, along with the gorgeous makeup for my 6 bridesmaids! I felt so naturally gorgeous without too heavy of a look and she truly perfected the look I was going for. I cannot recommend her enough - hire her & her team for sure!

Amy Gilbert Went here for the first time today after discovering Ashley on Instagram and she did not disappoint. The entire experience was extremely relaxing. I booked the “I don’t know” facial. She assessed my skin and recommended and enzyme peel. The whole space was super calming, relaxing, and aesthetically pleasing. I’ve been getting facials regularly for years and her extractions were the gentlest I’ve ever had. She also did a lot of facial massage that had me fighting to stay awake. Ashley was super kind and thorough and her prices are great. Will be coming back!

JF Molly is amazing at pairing my lashes to my face shape and style, I have been to other lash artists and I have to say she has -hands down- had the most professional, clean, and caring service. I always feel like a queen when I leave and she is extremely accommodating and knowledgeable in her craft. I have had her try many different styles on myself and each and every one of them has been an absolute perfect fit for me. Her services are always swift and relaxing. Even during a halloween special she had some special cute versions and she made me look and feel like a dream!!!!

A Patricia Purchased a groupon and was never able to use because I work during the week and the only times her appointment system would let me book were random days in the middle of the week at 2pm. So, I wasted money. Paid and never got any services.

Jessica Ryan Molly has been doing my lashes for over a year and I cant recommend her enough! Not only does she make me feel welcomed at every appt but she is also so passionate about her craft. She continues to educate herself with the latest techniques and trends so I know I’m always in good hands. Molly also remembers the small things like how I like the bed when I lay which makes me feel like a valued customer. I can’t wait to dabble in more services with her as I know they will all be phenomenal. 10/10
