William Ahrendt I had an air line to a brake chamber that chaffed open and was leaking pretty bad. Grays Garage was nearby and pulled in. Since it was a relatively easy repair, they had the parts on hand, and I needed to get back on the local job I was in the middle of, they got right on it. Turns out the other line was about to run through as well. They did both air line quickly and at a reasonable cost. Everyone I had contact with there was courteous, knowledgeable, and professional. Believe it or not, Grays Garage was recommended as an excellent shop by another shop about a half hour farther down the road. Would definitely recommend them for anyone needing commercial vehicles work.

Byran Dewey These guys was amazing. We had a truck break down late night and they came and towed us very professional. We had them check out the truck to find out what was wrong with it which was a blown motor and we had to talk with so people before a decision was made which took awhile and they were very patient with us. We ended up deciding to scrap the truck and they worked with us very well. I would recommend them anytime

brittney hill Headed to Michigan and blew a tire we were stuck on the side of the road close to an hour in the heat couldnt get any help til we called C &C Auto and Towing they were out to us within 15 minutes Tim was amazing loaded me and my family up took us back to the shop fixed up our van fast and at a great price on top of it all he was the kindest most professional person Ive had the pleasure of dealing with if Im ever around and need help again I wouldnt call anyone else!

Tevirooni I was stranded in the middle of nowhere on a road trip with a flat tire in the burning 90 degree heat for over an hour. We tried calling almost everybody; road help, other companies, the police, nobody helped. We were stuck with 7 people in the car and then we called C&C. They came in less than 15 minutes. They were closed but still helped us from the kindness of their hearts. They towed us all back to their shop and fixed our tire. Turned out we had 2 messed up and they still fixed that one at a low price. We decided to tip them and they insisted on not being able to take it (We still gave it to them). Truly an amazing and kind company. 1000/10.

Jennifer Palmer We brought our 2013 Kia optima to Rick when it broke down and wouldn’t start. He determined that the motor was siezed up. He went above and beyond to explain that the motors in these Kia’s were bad and that Kia was replacing them due to poor design. I took the car to Kia where they replaced the engine for nothing. He didn’t have to take the time that he did with my son and I. We greatly appreciate his help and would recommend home town auto to anyone that needs repairs in the area!

I called S&R Auto Center, which was about a mile from the highway, they stayed open for me and checked out my car. They let me know if it was ok to drive the rest of the way. Tammy Ragusa My car had been sitting in the driveway for five years without even being started. I was scared it was a goner, but the team at S&R came and got her and went to work. Not only did they get it running and make it safe for me to drive, the work was done sooner than I expected and they kept me in the loop the entire time. A week later when I had to take another vehicle in to get an ignition switch, they found one for me and did the work. And honestly, theyre just really decent human beings. Angela Very clean, you can buy snacks if youre waiting (very convenient). My husband and I just moved to Pontiac about 2 weeks ago. The other day, we were involved in a car accident. We brought the car here for an estimate. The gentleman who was there did an excellent job with the appraisal and explained how the whole process went. He was very nice and pleasant to work with. The lady who was working behind the counter was also very nice and pleasant to speak with. She gave me some great ideas on how to move forward. Im so glad that theres a Gerber Collison near us. They have a fantastic reputation, and this shop is in a league of its own. I hope I dont have to get my car fixed again, but if I do, Ill definitely be back!

They charged me a very reasonable amount for an excellent used tire and service. I was back on the road in less than an hour. Michael Swanson Rebuilt my car after it was in a wreck and I took it here for an alignment after. I appreciate that they pointed out the other maintenance items that I needed, yet they werent pushy about selling me other work at a time when I didnt have the money. They did the alignment for me. Ellis Charles Got my tires changed at Belle Tire in Bloomington but didnt get the alignment they suggested. Turns out I had two bad valve stems. Took it to Phaffs and not only did they fix the problem but they brought me out to the shop to show me my alignment was almost perfect. These guys look out for their customers

Matt Leigh I took my truck for a scratch and small dents on drivers side of the bed of my truck near the fuel door. It took over two weeks when I was told one week. When I went in to get the truck and I was trying to ask questions to Tim the owner about making sure that the topper was sealed back correctly he started helping another customer that came in after me and when I asked him he was rude and made a smart-ass comment that it was just a topper! They are understaffed and I get that he is extremely busy, but no reason to be unprofessional with a customer, so three days later I drive to Chenoa and opened the back topper and tailgate and found two of the clamps laying on the truck bed floor and the other two loose!!!! Thank God it didnt fly off going down the highway!!! I also asked about the glass/ceramic coating being put back on my truck and he was snotty again saying that the paint had to cure first, then his wife said for three months before I would be called to let me know when to bring it back, first time I was told that ever and I assume if I didnt ask wouldnt have been told! Will never do business with them again!!!!! BEEN GOING DOWNHILL FOR YEARS Update now 3 months later he submitted a supplemental estimate for the glass coating something that he didnt do because I wont take it there for anything ever again and tried to get paid for it!!!

jesse Mcbeath Understaffed, didn’t communicate well. Progressive priced a new headlight, and they just “fixed” it for the “same” price(765$) as a new headlight. Now my headlight that was fixed gets moisture inside the lens. Wish Pontiac had a honest family owned shop.
