I was trained as a mechanic many years ago but never have time to work on my own cars so was looking for a shop that I trusted. After trying several in Monticello and not satisfied I thought I’d give Crawley’s a shot as I prefer smaller independent shops. Not knowing what to expect I was pleasantly surprised at the great work that they did at a very fair rate. I’ll be going back here for all my automotive work.

5 /5 Michele Jarke: My husband Eugene was having problems with his breaking system after changing out a caliper. Could not get pedal after bleeding brakes. Took it to firestone uptown Decatur they tried to charge us $302.00 to fix brakes but still no brakes. They also tried to tell us we needed all kinds of parts that we didnt need, cause they were just put on. Took truck to Jim Crawley and he had it repaired in no time. We now have brakes! Jim is the most knowledgeable, fair and reasonably priced man around. Definitely our go to from here on out.

J B: Great service. We recently moved to the area from out of state. My husband’s truck needed an oil change and this business was down the road from my daughter’s job. I was a little hesitant just from anxiety with unfamiliar places. Mostly parking with his giant truck. Google maps helped me realize the entrance to the bays were behind the store so taking a back route would be perfect for getting in. The guys lift the bay doors and direct you into the area. They check your lights upon entrance, your mileage, and ask what services you want. Then tell you what comes with your oil change you select and what they could offer if you wanted it. At no time did they try to over sell me or make me feel incompetent. I could change the oil my self but i don’t like too. So the fact they made me feel human instead of less than as woman speaks volumes. Some service company’s try to scare sell services. I do all the maintenance on our cars so i appreciate they don’t do that here. I know what’s needed and not. The guys were very nice and kind so i recommend them. Facility was also well kept in the bays. I didn’t go inside the seating area.
