5 /5 sanaii destini: My favorite place to go, they have a person there to make sure you have a resource for all your problems! You can count on always being relaxed and feeling protected. A no-judge zone and you have women to bond with while you are there! I go there for nails by nica , lashes by shanika, and pretty soon i’ll start waxing services. Plus, they have beautiful women to be around why wouldn’t you want to book? Prices are reasonable and the service you get is priceless! Book with them! Stop thinking

Octagon Salon & Spa - Gurnee Kathy Woodson: I walked in hot appointment for 1 p.m with 2 young ladys 1 cut my hair and she was very patient very understanding help make a terrific decision she was absolutely the sweetest thing. The second girl colored my hair blow dried made feel very comfortable help make good decisions since I unable these girls are the best kind patient understanding helpful. Thank you Kathy Woodson

Pro Nails - Gurnee Lisa Mitten: Edited 1/20/2025: I returned for a manicure on my own and they remembered my name! I’m definitely a return customer now! I had an appointment for a pedicure for myself. My 8 year old wanted to tag along (which made me nervous). They immediately noticed her and asked if she would like to join. This was her first pedicure and an amazing experience for us both. We have already scheduled our return visit.

Legacy salon.spa - Gurnee Dianna Uri: I have been a loyal customer of Legacy Salon and Spa for quite some time and have always had a wonderful experience with Amareli. However, my recent visit left me feeling quite disappointed and sad. I went in for a haircut and color but the results were far from what I expected. The haircut was uneven and the color was not what I had asked for. I returned to the salon to get it fixed, but unfortunately, the stylist seemed to have trouble understanding the adjustments I wanted. Despite my efforts to explain, I felt overwhelmed by the constant questioning and unfamiliar words and I told her to just dye it back to my regular color. To make matters worse, I had to take the day off work to try and get this “fixed” bc I couldn’t walk into work like this. The experience has left me feeling quite disheartened, especially given my previous positive experiences. I spent $308 for basically an ok haircut.

Luminous Nails Libertyville - Libertyville Christine Lykouretzos: Omg. Best nails salon ever!! The staff is so nice. It was so relaxing. They took their time didn’t rush my pedicure or hands. I got extensions and they feel so light and natural look great I love the girls and the owner so polite nice so very accommodating…. Would recommend to everyone. Ij just loved it from Start to finish ♥️♥️

A Touch Of Serenity Spa & Career Institute - Waukegan Amarilys Mixon: This is a school I did not realize when I booked. The services are slightly less expensive than a traditional salon. The students are all very polite but some leave more to be desired than others. The young lady who did my manicure left my nails looking un-manicured, she seemed distracted and left nail poslish everywhere. I spent my entire pedicure cleaning them up but could still not get it all. (See photo) I understand she is a student but the instructor should have checked her work and given feedback. Especially because I paid for my services they were not free. The young lady who did my pedicure was much more detail oriented and pleasant if I return I would ask for her again. She asked my opinion and made adjustments as needed. Also, both services took a total of three and a half hours which was way longer than I expected to spend getting my nails done. Full service location but lacking that luxury spa asthetic

Salon Verranno - Gurnee S F: I am puzzled how this place stays open when nobody ever answers the phone. I left a message yesterday. It’s been quite some time and no one has bothered to return my phone call either.. I guess they don’t need new business.
