5 /5 Asher Mai: I had to get a root canal and a crown. The staffs are all really nice and helpful with answering all my questions. I was nervous but the staffs all seem like theyve done this hundreds of times and its just a regular Wednesday for them. It helped me relax knowing that Im in good hands.

5 /5 Julie Greenstone: Dr. Xu is an amazingly gentle dentist who runs an amazing practice. Ive been a patient for over a year and have had quite a bit of work done on my smile in this time. I recommend Illini Smiles to all of my co-workers because its who we are covered with and it is an amazing practice. I have appointments made for my kiddos and know they will do a great job.

5 /5 Joe Fuge: Illini Smiles was the most professional and efficient dentist Ive ever been to. I brought my daughter for braces. I was so pleased to be there because everyone was nice and competent. But here comes the best part. I picked Invisalign and signed a contract, reasonably priced, might I add. I come home and my spouse says, "Go back and get metal braces instead." So I go back. Amy easily changed my whole setup, with a big, authentic smile on her face. This place is great. Ill be on their commercial.

1 /5 Ryan Swanson: Been going here for about 2 years. Almost every time when I go back they tell me I owed something from the last visit. And the end of each visit I pay what they say I owe. Today I come in for something I was told my insurance would pay 100%. They said actually it would cost 1200 dollars. This would be the 6th time this has happened with this location. But the last ones were a lot less. Ex Was told it was fully paid for with what I paid came back and it was 500. I paid but wasn’t happy. Moral of the story Deception in getting patients to agree to things for low cost then charge way more. Like 0 was quoted. 1200 was charged. Was told I paid all I needed and come back and it was 500. Many other examples of nickels and dimes. 20 here 50 there when I was told it was covered and I already paid once then asked to pay again and once 3 times for the same procedure

1 /5 J: No respect for patients time or schedule. Ive been asked to reschedule an appointment for my child 3 times due to staffing or scheduling issues on their part. The first time I pulled my child out of school and got there and they said they called everyone to cancel appointments for the day. I said I did not receive any texts or voicemails and the lady at the desk insisted that she personally left a voicemail and I had to pull out my phone to show that I did not receive a voicemail or any cancellation notice. So I rescheduled and they called the morning of the appointment asking if my child could come in earlier during school hours or reschedule. So I rescheduled again and they called me AGAIN the morning of the new appointment saying they could not see us that day. This is absolutely ridiculous to make patients adhere to a 24 hour cancellation policy but show no regard for their schedules and expect them to make adjustments on the day of appointments with hours notice.
