Wandering Nature Lover Very pleasant staff, always feel at ease. Knowledgeable about their products and tips for tanning. I think they have a nice varied set of tan beds, level and lay/stand. Staff always cleans bed ahead of you, thats nice to see. Thanks.

Annie Zerebny Got a spray tan with Gabby for a special event. 1000/10 recommend. She is extremely knowledgeable and explains everything she’s doing and why throughout the entire process. Never felt so comfortable during a spray tan in my life. I feel so confident and beautiful and cannot wait for my future spray tans. Thanks so much Gabby!!

Janet Rodgers This is my third time getting my hair done by Tracy and I have been extremely happy! She takes her time cutting my hair the way it looks in the pictures I show her. I have been very pleased so far with how she is taking care of my gray hairs that are not wanted by me yet! If you are looking for a hairdresser, I would highly recommend Tracy! Thank you, Tracy.

Courtney I am so glad to have come across the Blue Lotus Tanning Spa when I was looking for a place to tan for my wedding! I have pretty sensitive skin and burn quite easily but I was in good hands. Gabby is SO incredibly knowledgeable when it comes to tanning and told me exactly what I needed to do for my skin type. She also helped me pick the right products to prep my skin for a nice tan as well as gave me tips to help with the longevity of my tan. While I worked mostly with Gabby, the Blue Lotus Salon is truly a family place and every friendly face you meet there makes you feel so welcome (I love that it’s family owned - be sure to support small businesses)! While the people there are wonderful, the building and tanning beds are so well kept and clean! I will definitely recommend this tanning salon to those who are looking for a place to tan! Thank you Blue Lotus for being awesome!

Alyson Stirling I would never dream of going to any other salon! Ive been going to Tammy for my nails from years, and her experience and expertise is what keeps me coming back! My daughter and I also get our hair cuts there, and there isnt many people I would trust with my baby girls hair!

Sara Bujak Kennedy offers fair pricing and awesome services. I’ve been to her twice. Once for a hydro facial and derma-plane. Second for a derma plane and microneedle. I will be back! I highly recommend.

Leah Wojcik Sarah is absolutely amazing! She has been grooming my aussiedoodles for over a year now. All I have to say to my girls is lets go see Sarah and they both go running to the door. Sarah always takes her time and both girls ALWAY look amazing when they are done.

Lesley Maher Kelly is amazing! Told her what I was wanting and I understand sometimes it can not be done in one sitting, but after TWO visits she had me right where I wanted! Hands down the best for me! I also enjoy the company at the salon. All the ladies there are amazing.

Trisha White Kelly has been my stylist for years! She is excellent and provides everything from a fabulous wash, cut, eyebrow & lip wax , hair color, & style...full service! I have never received better hair care from anyone at a salon. She is simply the best at whatever you need and very personable!!

Janice Mickelson Hair Pros is a great business. Kelly is my favorite stylist. Great service and listens to what you want and follows through with amazing results. She also is great at making suggestions when Im not certain what I want. Pedicures, manicures, hair care, etc.. Excellent and personable every time. I highly recommend the shop.

Tabitha Qualls this place brings back so much nostalgia! great selection of hair products for non-western hair types and i find what i need here. only complaint is that they do not seem to restock their temporary hair dye, but im glad they at least carry it.

Kelly DuMontelle Just had a pedicure here Tuesday and now I have an infection in my toe. My toe is huge, red and swollen. I love coming here but lately it’s off. I’ve had a different inexperienced nail tech do my pedicures when I’ve been in the last few times. I struggle with ingrown toenails. That’s why I liked coming here. But today, it’s 5 am and my toe is throbbing and I can barely walk. Kept me up all night. And I’m in excruciating pain. Please make sure your implements are cleaned and that your tech really knows why they’re doing. This is a very bad situation and why I’m hesitant in letting people touch my feet.

Lorac Pescetto This is work of art!!! I scheduled my appointment this morning for a manicure and pedicure went in at a scheduled time! Each time I go get my nails I never get to write a review but today I had too!!! The lady that did my nails was phenomenal I just can’t remember her name but I told her each time I go there that’s the person that’ll do my nails, she was so patient when doing the job cause I know some places always want to rush you and do a poor job, but Veda is a nice, clean, and they have polite staff that work there. Thank you for my nails Veda Nails.

Abigail Shirley I’m not usually one to leave reviews, but I had such a great experience getting a manicure today that I had to share! Tisha was so kind, professional, and incredibly skilled. She paid close attention to detail, took her time to make sure everything was perfect, and made me feel completely pampered the entire time. My nails look amazing — clean, stylish, beautiful, and exactly what I wanted. I’ll definitely be coming back and recommending her to everyone I know!

Alyssa Johnson Getting my nails done has always felt like a chore until I met Tisha, now I look forward to my relaxing appointments and good conversations. I recommend her to everyone. I love the products she uses and never have to worry about chipping or lifting and can stretch the time in-between appointments more than I have ever been able to at any other salon.

Jackie Weber Tisha is absolutely amazinggggggg. I’m so glad that I can finally say after 10+ years of going nail salon to nail salon that I found the best nail tech. She is so kind and very knowledgeable about what is best for your natural nails. The gel never chips, cracks, breaks or peels. Her services are worth every penny! I HIGHLY recommend.

Hayley Hudson I see Danyell every few weeks and any nail design I give her she makes into perfection! One of the best price points in town and there is definitely experienced talent across the board with everyone who works here! The salon is cozy and welcoming! Love love love studio D and 100% recommend to anyone and everyone! You’ll never be disappointed!

Jacqueline L I enjoyed my visit today with Brittany. She did a great job on my curly hair. As someone with tight curls it is really hard to find someone that knows how to cut curly hair. Brittany was very nice from the beginning and overall vibe was great. I only went in for a cut and style and she did exactly what I wanted and my hair was even which I’ve had bad experiences before. I would definitely go back to her again. 10/10 recommend.

Brandy Andrews Highly recommend KATIE! This was my First Time ever here and they got me in today last minute for a balayage. She cut it, did a full color, plus the balayage only for 130. Everyone is so nice there! Will definitely be coming here from now on!!! The last pic is the before!!!

Peaceful Hippy I went into the salon to have my hair colored and cut by Tracy. The color was okay for the most part. However, the cut was nothing more than a hack job. The left side is far shorter than the right side. It doesnt blend in with the lenght in the back. I am going to have to find someone to fix it. Ill have to chop about 2 inches of lenghth inorder to even it back out which will be hair that I just spent alot of money on to have colored. I have never been more disappointed with a haircut and I cant get over how this was even allowed to happen. Update: The owner of the salon got back to me right away and offered me the opportunity to come back in, to remedy the problem, which I did. I am extremely happy with the results and more than appreciative of their willingness to get me in and work with me until I was happy. I will be back to this salon.

Elizabeth Anne I came in as a first time client and long story short i was not really happy with my cut . The owner Joanne reached out and offered to fix it herself and i agreed i went back in showed her what i wanted and she did it it was great . The experience was awesome and she really took time to make sure i was happy. I went home and waited for my curls to dry and the result was phenomenal. Thank you so much im so happy with my cut

Chloe Boyd The staff was nice and helpful. I feel like my nails look soo cute also got a pedicure was good ! Update : after a week my nails were already falling off I paid for gel too. Maybe the worker rushed me but they weren’t packed.

BrookeLynn Sikora I’m not one to go to salons, AT ALL, but due to prom coming up i wanted to spoil myself. I came to Happy Nails for the first time ever, got a pedicure and i have nothing but wonderful things to say. All the employees were very warm and welcoming, the gentleman doing my pedicure (i never caught his name) was very gentle and efficient, also making small talk which made me feel more comfortable and relaxed. A lady even came by with bottled water and the massage chairs only made the experience 10 times better. Overall had an absolutely wonderful experience and would definitely recommend to anyone in the area in the need of a salon!!

jari WOW! One of the best experiences I’ve had at a beauty store. The minute I arrived this young woman asked me how I was doing and introduced herself to me. The store was very well organized. I came in looking for a wig for a wedding I have coming up and ended up buying nose rings and “fake” nose rings. Fernanda was very kind in helping me around the store and helping me find a wig. She’s the best. Definitely coming again.

keiniece This is my go to beauty supply store. I never feel like Im being watched, which is very important to me. They have a huge selection of hair care products catering to people of color. They always ask if I need help not the kind of ask that makes you feel like theyre watching you but genuinely want to help you. I drive by other beauty supply store just to come to here. Their selection is diverse and huge. Barbering equipment to a little bit of clothing to bows from huge to small and hair care products made by blacks. You can find everything here.

Wandering Nature Lover I love this salon. They are really kind and do great work. The atmosphere is very chill and nicely decorated. The prices for services are decent. Definitely my new favorite salon and Ive visited just about every salon in Bradley and Bourbonnais. In other salons theres a gossipy feel to them, this one is all walks of life and no judgement, which is so much more relaxing. I love it!

Yaya Gomez I missed my appointment and wasnt given the chance to reschedule at all. Was told I cant reschedule ever. People make mistakes and for someone to deny you service is ridiculous. I called at 2:19pm no one answered. I called back at 2:47pm and left a voice mail. I didnt call hours after! You denied me services by not allowing me to reschedule ever. But its ok wishing your business success.

Katie Stover Andrea fixed my hair after Paul Mitchell School in Bradley IL royally messed it up! And Sally Beauty Supply gave me horrible advice to fix it myself. See pictures. 1,2:Paul Mitchell School did the blue and purple stripe pattern all the way around my head at that layer. And the very bottom layer. 3,4: a licensed cosmetologist from Sally Beauty Supply in Bradley told me to "just put dark red brown dye over it" I asked "wont that turn the blue a green color" she replied "no. Because its a darker shade of brown than the blue." Thats clearly GREEN! 5,6: the perfect result done by: Andrea Pace!

Victoria Elizabeth By far the WORST place to go!!! I’m honestly embarrassed to even go in public with these nails. After the lady told me she couldn’t do what I asked her to do (see last picture) this is what was done. This lady had no idea what she was doing. My nails aren’t smooth, she used an electric file on my skin to get the mess of nail polish that was all over my hands off and they look like complete crap!! This is my second time going to this place because I was given a gift card and everything in me did not wanna go back because the first time was just as bad! But I figured “how bad could it be just getting a fill?” I walked out paying $120 for this and pedicure!! Which I thought the pedicure wasn’t that bad till later at night I took my socks off and realized I still had so much callus! Not to mention I told them MULTIPLE times I didn’t want no chip and they still used it anyway. They push it on you to up charge you. If I could give 0 stars I would! I will be taking my business elsewhere and I hope everyone else does as well. Do better!

Laura Richardson This place is horrible came in Saturday 12/14/24 to get my nails done and the guy doing my nails did a horrible job will never go back. I wish I could give it a zero terrible. Going back because there going to fix my polish.

Brenda Allen This place used to be the best but it is not and they probably would be better but the owner/manager has a very nasty attitude and I see her being the reason for the decline. Cindy is very nice and thorough and so is John. Because of the manager, I will not be going back!
