I gave her a couple photos for inspiration and got the most beautiful designs. Puje is the best! I book a few days in advance to make sure I can get on her books. Amazing work everytime!

1 /5 Shivani R: Update: It has now been 4 months and my nails just recovered from this experience. I wasn’t able to get my nails done for 3.5 months because of how badly my nails were damaged. I just want to reiterate how terrible my experience was at this place. Maybe it was just that specific technician, but literally the worst ever. Worst nail experience ever! I went in last weekend because of positive reviews and recs, but regret it so much now. I just needed a gel polish change and ended up leaving with my nails in the worst shape they’ve ever been in. First, the technician used this gel polish remover instead of acetone that completely stripped the bed of my nails. I told her my nails were curling up from it and she didn’t do anything. Then, she used her tool with a massive buffer head to buff away the polish to the point where it was burning me. I told her and she changed the head of her tool to another massive buffer. Have never felt pain like that while getting my nails done. By the time she was done with her tool, the beds of my nails were red. However, I figured the gel polish would cover them up and they would be better in a few days. Wrong. Not only did all of my polish turn a different color after a day (picture), but I just had to cut my nails completely down because they were bending and breaking from the damage. You can see in the picture after I cut them that the technician buffed away most of my nail and they are paper thin now. This explains why I was feeling so much pain during, too. I have naturally strong/thick nails, so seeing that I have basically no nail left was very upsetting. Would not recommend this place at all.

Sparkle Nail Salon - West Loop - Chicago Lahney Vilayhong: I have been going to Sparkle Nail Salon for quite some time and every time I come in, my experiences get better and better! From the moment you walk in, you are greeted with warmth and professionalism. The ambiance of the salon is extremely relaxing, music is superb, everything is clean, organized and beautifully decorated! The staff is incredibly skilled and it’s evident that they prioritize customer satisfaction. I have been a client of Vivian’s (Mimi) for at least 10 years and every time I need my nails done, she does not disappoint. She maintains a genuine rapport with her clients and pampers me every time I get my nails done. I have recently gotten my nails done by Katana, refer to the pictures, and she is a true artist. The attention to detail perfectly complimented my style and the quality was top-notch. Overall, they offer a variety of services which is efficient but never rushed! If you are looking for a nail salon that combines exceptional service, skilled professionals, and a luxurious experience, this is the place to go! I definitely recommend you to give it a shot if you haven’t already!

The Best Nails Chicago - Chicago Amber Mathesius: I had been looking for a new salon for a while when I stumbled across best nails and now I’m obsessed. Other salons I’ve been to have refused to attempt certain designs I ask for but Asel absolutely killed this design!! She is amazing!! Very creative and great attention to detail! Price is higher than other salons I’ve been to but in my opinion, totally worth it. Staff is friendly, flexible, and talented and these nails stayed on longer than a month! I got the gel extensions which are so much better for your nails and leave your natural nails strong and healthy unlike other acrylics, also making the price reasonable for me personally. Would definitely recommend!

Pure Rain Nail Spa - Chicago Bryana Robinson: I usually love this nail salon however, I had a horrible experience today with Aida. I did not originally book with her but I was open to trying her due to them changing the provider last minute. I politely corrected the shape multiple times and even provided a picture of my nails from a previous visit to help aid. After the shape was “good enough” we went on to the French Tip design. After I corrected her on the French Tips twice, I asked if I could just leave the Bubble Bath base that we already had and not do the French Tip. Aida proceeded to wipe the white polish off as if I was doing her a disservice and put the top coat on with a hurry. After one coat of top coat, I noticed that the white polish remained on the edges of my nails therefore I pointed it out which resulted in her filing the white off instead of actually fixing it. I paid for the service and left but returned 10 minutes later because I needed to book the service all over again with one of my original providers. I pointed out the streaky polish and imperfections to Aida which I guess hurt her ego because she started to get snappy and go back and forth with me over why its looks different. “They use a different product that I do.” “Well thats just how it looks.” “I did two coats of clear.” (She didn’t) The cherry on top of the cake is that Aida knew I wasn’t satisfied yet I paid full price today (Oct. 12th) and proceeded to tell me that I will have to pay full price to get what I ORIGINALLY requested when I come back Thursday (Oct. 17th). My mood is completely ruined and I would not recommend her to anyone. Pictures included: 1 picture of service requested with another provider in the shop & multiple pictures of my nails today. UPDATE: After this review, I got contacted by management which were very understanding and apologetic. I went back to Pure Rain and got my nails redone by Henry. He did a good job and customer service is always amazing. I will be coming back for Henry to do my nails.

Bedazzled Chicago - Chicago Mika: I loved my experience here! Ive been back multiple times and the price is affordable for what youre getting. My nails typically dont last 4 weeks and Ive had them last 4.5 weeks to 5.5 weeks here at Bedazzled salon. They also do great designs! I got a gel manicure with a french manicure + a design for $71. Edit: I went back and had another lovely experience!! Thank you so much!

VS Nails Salon - Chicago Cristina Stancu: I had a great experience with both Catherine and Jenny at this place for soft gel overlay. Detail oriented, worked super hard to get my hard gel nails off and put up with me changing my mind on color twice (Jenny). My nails turned flawless. This is 2 weeks later and they still look great.

Nail Perfection - Chicago Christina Wells: I came in knowing what style I wanted but not really knowing much about the difference between powder and gel. The nail tech Jimmy was really helpful in explaining everything and making recommendations! He did excellent work and even let me try different colors on my nail to see how it actually looked. I got EXACTLY what I asked for and couldnt be happier! Vibe check: on a Wednesday afternoon the shop was quiet, not too crowded. The staff was friendly and professional!

New Age Nail Studio - Chicago S. A: If you’ve been disappointed in the attention to detail before, ask for Lana!! She’s absolutely amazing! She makes my natural nail look beautiful and she listens when I tell her I don’t want thick nails or whatever my preference is.
