    Macoupin County Health Department - Carlinville Melinda Gallup: Called 7/19/24 for a dental appointment. They couldnt get me in until middle of November for a broken tooth. OK, itll have to do, right? Then they call in September and tell me they have to reschedule to end of January 2025, 6 months after my initial phone call for a very painful broken tooth. I get there, they tell me they cant help me with the broken tooth, and gave me a list of oral surgeons. They schedule me to come in the next day to have a cleaning and more x-rays done. My boss wouldnt allow me to come in an hour late, so I call to reschedule my appointment. The woman on the phone says, "You didnt give us 24 hours notice..." It wasnt even scheduled for 24 hours before I had to cancel! Ridiculous waste of time, not to mention the waste of gas since I had to drive an hour to get there. Youre better off saving your money up and going to an actual dental office.
    Carlinville Family Practice Center, a division of Macoupin Family Practice Centers, LLP - Carlinville Derek Hauser: Thank you Katie for being very rude and unprofessional while I was on the verge of a mental health crisis. Not everything is black and white maam. Your attitude and demeaning tone was unwarranted. You should not be in an office dealing with potential mental health patients with the nasty attitude you have. After calling 3 other doctors I was able to get an appointment to get my medication.....without being demeaned or talked down to. Edit: I have been going to this office for over 10 years and the docs are great! This is my first terrible experience like this. I will be filing a formal complaint.
