The front desks ladies are always unprepared and never on time. They will charge you for not showing up. Lie say they don’t. This place is so so so so bad! Do not take your kids or family

From the time I walked in, through the tooth cleaning process, and seeing Dr. Jacobson everyone is friendly, welcoming and professional. I recommend him to people needing dental help. Sylvie the hygienist we see and Dr. Jacobson are amazing and attentive, and explain everything theyre going to be doing, step by step.

Cottage Dental Care - Bloomington Skyler Marmolejo: The staff is amazing, the environment is nice , professional, clean and positive. From the moment you walk in to the time you leave, every single staff member that you encounter are friendly, caring and outgoing. They go above and beyond for you even if you’re not typically one of their patients. That means a lot! I was having bad tooth pain and knew that I needed a root canal. I did some research and was found Cottage Dental. They were able to get me in for an emergency exam the day after I called. And had me on the schedule the next week for my root canal. During my initial exam, Dr. Krug shaved my tooth down just enough to where my bite wasn’t putting anymore pressure in it. Immediate pain reliever! When leaving, They thoroughly explained pricing and insurance and talked to Dr. Krug about when to get me in for my root canal and I overheard him say “let’s get her in as soon as possible she’s in a lot of pain” I was scheduled within 7 days for my root canal which was yesterday. It was the easiest experience. Dr. Krug really takes his time to handle you with care and do it correctly! He does not rush through a single step. So Incase you’ve never had one and are nervous like I was- don’t be! I didn’t feel a thing during the procedure. The soreness after the numbing wore off only lasted just for that day but i was able to relieve that with ibuprofen & Tylenol as if nothing happened. I return for my crown in a couple weeks. I can’t say enough how much I appreciate everyone at Cottage Dental for taking great care of me. If you’re looking for a great Dentist and staff who really care, this is your place to go!

Access Dental & Orthodontics - Bloomington Stephanie Strohaker: I needed teeth pulled pre-surgery. It was my second extraction, the first being a tiny wisdom tooth. I was numbed on BOTH SIDES FOR A DOUBLE PULLING when one was supposed to be filled by an associate across town, the computer in my room didn’t work because it was “so far back” so I was questioned about my questioning. He pulled the tooth that was supppsed to be filled, leaving me with a crumbled tooth.(I was late for her appt. (10 min.) (BEFORE NECROTIC HIP SURGERY) so she SHUNNED me. Anyway, rely on good nurse, I haven’t even been back for my records. End.

McLean County Dental - Bloomington Samina/Naveed Yousuf: Very courteous and thoughtful staff. Very kind with my son with special needs. Julie is so patient and gentle with him. After 2 visits he now feels very comfortable. Highly recommend

Hershey Plaza Dental Center - Bloomington Abbie Stipp: I have had so many horrible dental experiences. I drove 2 hours to hershey plaza for 3 extractions and it was the best experience I have ever had. Dr was very understanding! The dental assistant I had was also AMAZING. I will definitely be making the 2 hour drive back to finish my dental work!

Gentle Family Dentistry - Dr. Allison Beehner - Normal OrangeNinja818: This was hands down the best experience Ive had at the dentist, and I mean it. Im absolutely terrified of going to the dentist due to past trauma. From the moment I made the appointment, which they worked a miracle to get me in sooner, to leaving the appointment the staff was absolutely wonderful. I had expressed my anxiety of going to the dentist and they promised it was a judgment free zone, and they kept the promise. I was also treated like a person and wasnt screamed at, when I expressed concerns they listened. Dr. Seus was wonderful and explained everything and didnt get upset when I asked questions. Her assistant, I think, Abby was amazing I nearly had a break down from how stressed I was about the visit and she reassured me many times and that it was okay. I will be returning here in the future for further dental needs.

The office is always clean and nice. Weve been going to this practice for a number of years and will continue to do so. We highly recommend H&H for your dental care.

Aspen Dental - Bloomington, IL - Bloomington Matt DePauw: I wish I could give zero stars. I went to Aspen over a year ago. I was charged $995 the day of and was told I had to pay or no service would be given. Insurance would cover the rest. Not knowing, I said ok if this is what I need. 11 months rolls by and I randomly get a bill for over $1200. I call and I actually dont see that it ever got sent to insurance. After 10 minutes of this individual finally locating my bill. He sees there is the original charge of $995 and that insurance bounced back our request. We will resend it. Please call back in 5-6 weeks." I call back at the end of the 6 weeks and am told it is still in processing. Have not heard anything. Fast forward to today, get a text saying your bill is ready to pay. I call and am told I have a $300 some bill based of what insurance did not cover. I obviously as what my original payment was for then. Customer Service asks if I got and EoB from my insurance, I have not. She goes and looks through my EoB on her end to then come back and say that insurance says I only should have been charged $800 some at the time of appointment. I ask if that means that I was charged more the day of than what I actually owed, she said yea I think so. Wait, I mean no. But you did pay more than what you should have. (Trust me I was just as confused in this moment). After hemming & hawing, she said she needs to send this up to supervisors to review and to call back in another 4-6 weeks. The math doesnt math... at all. I get a different number every time I call and cant seem to get a straight answer ever. Mind you... appointment January 2024, first bill November 2024, March 2025 is the most recent bill. It is ABSOLUTELY absurd that this is still going on, that I owe anything after paying almost $1,000 the day of, keep getting numbers that never match up, and that Im now being sent up to supervisors to review. AGAIN. I said it once, and Ill say it again. I wish ZERO stars were an option.

Signature Dental Experience - Bloomington Jeremy Masters: My appointment for my 6 month cleaning was excellent. The dental hygienist was very joyful, and she did a great job explaining each step of the appointment & cleaning process. For the majority of the cleaning process, she used a state of the art tool that uses water rather than the traditional metal instrument that requires more pressure & abrasive force. I found the new process to be much more pleasant. Their front desk staff was very friendly & pleasant as well.

Redbird Dental Care - Bloomington Ali T: Tried paying a bill for 4 months. Wouldnt answer my calls then sent me to collections. Last time I called said they couldnt access their front desk due to construction and would call me back. Never received any phone calls. Left messages and said had a call service but no one ever picked up and online pay wouldnt work. Left 3 more messages and never got a call back. I went here all the time and hate dentists. I love it here and due to them not taking accountability and not returning calls to pay them they said it was my fault when I took all steps possible to pay the bill and now have to deal with collection agency. This suxs in more ways than one and now I feel like this is going to be a repeat if I go back with constant run around. If their are issues with the call center bc I never once got directed there on any of the calls I made only to leave a message and never receiving a call back to some I was trying to do and being called a liar saying I never called to.do it. I am so upset right now after going there for over a decade. Someone didnt do what they said and now I have to get out of collections because no one followed up to take a payment. Saying I never called to do it when I did it 4 times with no response. When I called to pay and ask why they didnt answer my call until I called from another number and they answered. I dont want to deal with this ordeal again and hate I have to find another dentist because of this. Hopefully you find people accountable for not following up with patience to.pay so you dont lose another patient.
