Mark E Staff is friendly and attentative. I had to wait 10 mins after my appt time. I understand we dont live in a perfect world. So an extra ten minute wait is o.k. once and a while. No issues or problems. They analyzed my teeth and told me what needed to be done and what could wait. Overall, they are a good dental practice and would recommend them.

They knew I was getting a crown done( which I have never had before) and it would have been nice to know it was going to take over 3 hours to have done so I could have planned Accordingly and when checking out ( I have insurance) they wanted 1,091.00 which of coarse I did not have on me, a call , text or email would have been great so I would have been prepared to pay that other wise I would definitely recommend them and have

Michelle Johnson This is such a great office! I was a new first time client in extreme pain. After calling my regular dental office and multiple others around me they all turned me down and gave me an appt for a week out or longer. We called here and they squeezed me into their busy day so I wouldn’t have to be in pain for Easter weekend! The front desk staff was so kind, funny, and amazing. The rest of the dental staff made me feel right at home and like we know each other forever! Dr. Lombardi is amazing! Extremely friendly, helpful, and took care of my tooth that very day! I’m so incredibly thankful for this office and the amazing staff!

Mikeya Stephen I had a very disappointing experience at this dental office. I waited almost 30 minutes before even being seen by the dental assistant. When the doctor finally examined me, I was informed that my extraction and bone graft would cost around $200. I agreed to the procedure and was numbed in preparation. Then, about 15 minutes later, a billing employee walked in, explaining that there was a “glitch” in the system and that the actual cost would now be $760, assuming my insurance didn’t cover it. Why wouldn’t they? My benefits had just reset, and I had already spent $2,000 at this office in the last quarter of 2024. At this point, I was left numbed up and completely frustrated. Changing the price so drastically after numbing me felt predatory and unprofessional. It’s as if they prefer to bill patients in full upfront (with no payment plans offered) and leave them to hope their insurance covers it later. To make matters worse, there was barely an apology. My dental assistant and Dr. Joy were kind. The dental assistant genuinely seemed surprised that the front desk hadn’t caught this “glitch” before giving me the initial estimate. Unfortunately, that wasn’t enough to make up for the poor experience. I won’t be returning. I’m tired of not knowing the actual cost of procedures until I’m sitting in the chair. Patients deserve transparency and respect, and sadly, this office failed to provide either.

(My previous dental practice stopped accepting all dental insurances and went out of network.) Lombardi Dentistry provided an exceptional patient engagement and experience that was high-tech in nature using technology and AI to improve patient dental care. The staff was welcoming and the doctor who reviewed the x-rays and information from the dental hygienist was engaging, thorough and made positive recommendations for care without being judgmental or preachy. As a retired healthcare executive, I highly recommend Lombardi Dentistry to anyone searching for a dental practice.

Sidney Adams Every employee I came in contact with was professional. They were kind and took good care of me. The oral surgeon explained everything thoroughly. He saw only 1 tooth that needed to be extracted. Two other dentists told me I need 4 teeth taken out. It was a happy surprise.

Not only that but they had an open appointment. That, in and of itself, was a godsend. The entire staff was very professional and friendly, but the dentist that actually performed the extraction was incredible. Absolute highest recommendation I can give. Thank you so much.

Tammy Benefield Great experience with Associated Orthodontist for my daughter’s perfect smile. We mainly used the Morris location but also visited the Plainfield office a few times and the staff at both were great. Appointments stayed true to time scheduled, courteous staff, and great results.

She suggested to bring him in for a morning appointment and that made all the difference! She was so patient and wonderful explaining each step and tool to him. Best dental office in the area! I have needed a lot of dental work because of side effects of medication. Dr. Nicholson has never once made me feel self conscious about my teeth. She is super friendly and professional. So glad I found her and this office!

Lydia Sibert My family has come to this dentist office for years. We love our dentists! After working all night at my job as a caregiver, I drove over 45 minutes to get to my appointment. I was not quite 10 minutes late. Yes, thats my fault, but I did have a phone conversation with the front desk telling them that I was a few minutes behind. So, they knew. I walk in and the front desk lady was very rude to me. She tells me that I need to reschedule. Im like ok. I apologize. She then says that their hygienist dont make enough money to take care of me today and that the soonest I can reschedule is October. The fact that she felt the need to let me know how poorly she thinks the dental hygienist are paid there is very unprofessional. She then asked me if I wanted to pay my bill. I said, what bill? She said from the crown in February. I said, maam, I didnt have a crown done in February. She then admits that shes trying to collect from a family member or mine. I said, did you send a bill? Well, no we havent. So rude and very unprofessional!

Rob Boelman Rude front desk staff. Co workers have to apologize for one of them with her attitude. We goto a new dentist due to this and they refuse to send records to the new dentist office. Very unprofessional. They made us over pay on services and then refuse to send back the refund.

Allison Hansen I will recommend Dr. Barth and his staff to anyone and everyone in search of a dentist. Dr. Barth has helped me tremendously and I will truly never be able to re-pay him. I came to him a couple years ago with little hope as I was dealing with excruciating pain that no other dentist would touch or help me with. He has done all of my work since then and have not even the slightest complaint ever. His staff is phenomenal. The receptionist Gina has been a blessing to me always making sure I have everything I need and getting me in for emergencies quickly and always being so extremely understanding of unforeseen circumstances (illness, children) when needing to reschedule. I hope this office never closes because I truly don’t ever want to have to go anywhere else! I would give 10 stars if that was an option.

It’s has been 10 years and now our whole family sees Dr. Barth. The hygienists do a great job with my 3 year old twins. I would definitely recommend Barth Dental Care!

Acer Lambada I called from Chicago in pain and desperation because there was a complication in the extraction of a wisdom tooth. The dentist could not get to all of the tooth and a part of the root remained lodged in my gums where pain, and possibly infection, was setting in. The receptionist sneered at me when I said I was on Illinois medicaid, basically "get lost, and never mind us helping you find somebody else." Well Im happy the folks of Morris, Illinois are so wealthy they can afford to treat us poor folks between jobs with such scorn. Medical people in general: be a little charitable. Take a medicaid emergency case once in a while. It wont kill you. Illinois Valley Oral Surgeons in particular: you have an attitude problem with your staff (read, also, another persons review of their Peru, IL office). Is this what the people of Illinois are like? Illinois is losing people to emigration at the rate of one person every 5 minutes. No wonder! Better wise up, Illinoisans, before theres nobody left in this state.
