marina Isac Went for the first time here tonight and worked with Anotalia and she did absolutely amazing! She was extremely attentive and gentle and my nails came out exactly how I wanted them! Will definitely be going back!

fran ro If the option was no stars, I would do Have given That save your time and money and go somewhere else. 4 days in to my nochip , all of my nails have completely peeled off. Not to mention, I had to go back in the same day to fix my pedicure.That was bubbling up Its smeared and instead of wiping it completely off the technician. Just repented over causing the bubbling.

Rachel M Possibly one of the best manicures Ive ever had. The aesthetic / vibe is a little lacking and the place was freezing but I still give it 5 stars because the service itself was honestly that good. These pictures are a full 7 days AFTER my regular polish service; no chipping or bubbling, cuticles still look great and no peeling.

Courtney Cunningham I had the best experience at Tokyo Nails! I came in with a vision for my Disney trip, and they brought it to life perfectly. I’ve always seen fun, detailed nail designs online but could never find anyone to actually create them—until now. This set was exactly what I wanted, and it truly feels like a piece of art. The salon itself is super cute and cozy, it smells amazing, and they have literally everything you could ever imagine for nail designs. Any idea is possible here. I’m so happy I found them—highly recommend Tokyo Nails!

Laura Cempellin I dont usually take the time to write reviews but felt like I really needed to because I was so impressed with the longevity of my dip manicure. I was visiting Chicago and got my dip manicure done by Susan. She was fantastic! I got my manicure on September 20th and just got my nails done again on OCTOBER 29th. Obviously my nails had a lot of outgrowth after over a month, but not a single chip or uplift or snag. I have since contemplated flying to Chicago to get my nails done again. The first photo is immediately after and the 2nd is over a month later. Wish I lived in Chicago so I could get my nails done by Susan all the time!

Beth Schwarz I wish I could give Jasmine at Old Town Nails 10 stars! I get a dip manicure from Jasmine about once every 3 to 4 weeks. She is fantastic, has done some amazing ombre dip nails for me, and when she puts on a tip you literally cannot tell the tip from my own nails. My dip manicures last so long that I could go longer than 4 weeks, if my nails didnt grow. Jasmine is so nice, upbeat, and friendly that I always feel welcome. I cant recommend Old Town Nails enough!

Victoria Brown Cress I held off long enough before writing as I gave them a chance to correct the problem. I am so incredibly disappointed with my experience at Image Nail Salon. I paid $65 for a no-chip manicure with dip powder holo on top, which always lasts at least 3 weeks—sometimes even a month. I get this exact manicure regularly, but my usual place was closed, so I decided to give Image a try. What a huge mistake and complete waste of time! The initial appointment took 2 hours(norm is 1 hr or under), even though they assured me it wouldn’t take more than an hour. Because of this and their incompetence, I came back to work late. To make matters worse, the manicure chipped within 2 days! I went back to have it fixed, and they had to redo every single nail because all of them were chipping. Not just one. I could maybe understand but nope. Either the tech is awful or polish supplies is old. Or both,which is what I’m banking on. The same technician who originally messed up was assigned to redo my nails, which made no sense. She was extremely rough and caused me pain—I’ve never been hurt at any nail salon before. To top it off, her bosses were berating her, and she seemed to take out her frustration on me. It was so uncomfortable and unprofessional. On all parts. Do yourself a favor and avoid this place at all costs. Just go down the block where the staff are experts and actually value your time. Literally 4 nail salons within 1 block of this trash can. This experience was a nightmare from start to finish. Never again!

Haley Rojek probably my favorite nails ever!!! she did them exactly like the picture I showed (light blue no-chip with white chrome powder on top). I’m so glad I waited to get them done here! Would definitely recommend making an appointment - I walked in around 2pm and they were busy & asked me to come back around 3:30; I still didn’t end up being done till 5ish so it took a little while, but that was on me for not booking ahead of time! would definitely recommend this place as they did an amazing job, were very friendly, and the prices are good for the city!

Tracy Once again, made an appointment only for 2 walk ins to be taken in front of me and another woman. Last time I went, I took a chance on the cat eye. I had never had it done before so I didnt know what to expect. The tech looked at me and said good? after the first nail...I said I dont know, youre the nail tech. Two other techs inspected my hands after she was done, clearly not impressed. The one said is it cat eye or dog eye laughing... Enough for me, nail places are a dime a dozen and Ill happily find one that holds appointments, knows what theyre doing and respects their customers.

Kat Wolverton Good price at a clean salon in the heart of downtown. I was here as a pass through and needed to get my nails fixed and the techs were super kind and did a great job. Absolutely would go back! Photo on natural nail with gel/no chip for reference

E A This has become my new go-to manicure spot in the Loop! They’re very meticulous and do a fantastic job but they also are great at getting the job done fast so you can get back to the office once you’re done.

Hayley Cardinal Honey nails is by fair the best nails in Chicago (and honestly best anywhere). Hahn and her team are incredibly talented, kind, and professional. They can make your nail dreams come true while also maintaining the health and longevity of your nails! The salon is clean and so cute. I recommend them to everyone!! You will not be disappointed. FYI Make sure to book a design appointment if you plan on getting a design on your nails!

Aly Christoffersen I cant say enough great things about Honey Nail Salon!!! Every single person is extremely talented and your nails will look perfect no matter who you go to. Ive been to so many salons where I go in nervous about how my nails will turn, but NOT HERE!! Theres something about consistency that sets one place apart from the next! Kat Koller I’ve been seeing Hahn for my nails since 2019 and will never go to another nail artist again! She is a perfectionist and the best nail shaper I’ve ever been to. Weather you’re looking for a simple color or an intricate hand drawn design she doesn’t all and you’ll be happy with your beautiful nails! When she opened Honey Nails, no surprise at all- but it is a beautiful, calm, clean space. All of her nail artists are hand trained by her high standards so no matter who does your nails, you know they’ll be gorgeous. Hahn expertly coordinates appointments and is on time and is easy to communicate with to schedule appointments.

Airyanna Kuykendall I love this place! My 1st time visiting, they were super nice and explained Gel-X thoroughly and the cost was very transparent and reasonable. I felt informed from the second I walked in and Cata is so friendly and sweet. She paid attention to every little detail and made me laugh! She did my nails perfectly, I will be back!

Cala K. Connors Vanessa is lo mejor! She so sweet and wonderful to talk to! She also does a fantastic job with my nail designs. They are always beautiful and exactly what I wanted. They are the perfect balance of strength without looking bulky. I also have yet to have a nail break or even fade or peel. This last time I went between appointments just over three weeks due to travel, and I still was getting compliments on my nails after three weeks of them growing out.

Zeth Graham I had a more expensive powder over black gel manicure, in a gorgeous holographic blue/purple sparkle with a bit of green in certain lightings. It lasted an entire month without chipping before it grew out too much, and then I had to peel it off. I need to come back and get this done again because I loved it!

Abby Adriatico Love going here for no chip manicures! It’s been so perfect each time and they take their time to clean my nails. We love getting pedicures there too, our feet feel so soft after . My boyfriend gets the spa pedicures for extra tlc and he says he’s loved it over the other places we’ve been to. Will definitely be back!

simran dhaliwal Initially, I had my nails done on March 1st, 2024, and they were fine for a week. However, later in that same week, the paint on my left thumbnail chipped off. Subsequently, I decided to return and have it fixed by scheduling another appointment for a refill today. I didnt voice any complaints; all I wanted to do was arrange an appointment as politely as possible. However, the lady on the other end abruptly ended the call without explanation. Upon calling again to inquire about the refill appointment and its pricing, she rudely informed me that the technician was unavailable. It would have been courteous to mention this earlier when I initially called to schedule the appointment. Based on this experience, I would not recommend going there as there seems to be a risk of nail paint chipping off, and the staff can be rude.

Zanida Corujo I went in for a fill in, pedicure, and eyebrows and they did a great job! Super kind workers there. When one of the colors I wanted ran out they tried their best to find me my best match. And one lady asked to do a design on my nails and it was so cute! 10/10 would recommend!!!

Lyubov Andriianova Well, for $76 I would expect more. 1)quality of product is so so. I did regular manicure in the evening and the next day it was already chopped on the nail ends. Hands were not moistured while manicure, it was only done chopping and regular polish... 2) delivery is really require some improvement. I did pedicure and manicure simultaneously. So those two masters were continuing talking in Chinese to each other about me. It was visible that they discussed me as one of them was looking on me when another said something. I wanted to relax, but that made me really uncomfortable. I definitely not going to come back to them and not recommending them for sure.

Janet Elle Amazing service. I needed to split my session into two sessions because I had a conflict, and before painting, in the break, the nail technician (I believe Nikki?) practiced with different colors to make it look best and show me options! I was amazed. My nails look amazing. Great environment, too. My only note is to bring gloves to protect your hands from the UV rays. I’d have this advice to share at most nail places. Amazing place! I’m recommending to my friends. Whenever I go out people mention my nails.

Oyundavaa Gombosuren Miki did a perfect gel-x extension with cat eye. I love my nails. Hearths look cute and this is a perfect nails for valentine’s day(its early but will get the same new set done again before valentine’s day)

Lindsay Solo Tia saved the day by restoring my nails after a horrible experience at a salon in Los Angeles.This salon did an excellent job and restored my nails again. Very sanitary tools and clean salon, took their time, listened well and took me right away. Reasonable pricing and great attention to detail. Amazing service thank you so much!!

british wilburn Though the salon was nice, my service was rushed and the outcome looks like a beginner tech did them. I paid 65 for a very basic full-set with orange polish even though their sign said 45 for this. I told the guy providing my service about the shape and he responded he knew and continued to improperly do them. I don’t like to be confrontational so I just paid and left. I won’t be back.

Yolanda Pollock I went here two weeks ago to have a fill and my polish redone. Sunday There was a woman there that did a fantastic job so I returned so that I could have her do them again and get a pedicure. Well she wasn’t there and I got another woman to do my nails. Who rushed through the job and lo and behold on Monday night after I get out of the shower, I look at my nails and one of them is peeling. I haven’t even been back to work. All I did was my laundry So Tuesday morning, I called and asked if this woman was there. They said yes and come on in. When I arrive, she’s not there they don’t even know who I am talking about. The gentleman who was attempting to help me, didn’t even believe that I was there said there was nobody at this net by that name finally called the owner and told me to come back in an hour. OK, so I come back in an hour and they decided just to fix the one now, no I said as I told you earlier, I wanted them all done and by all I mean, the nails file properly and the polish reapplied . Well, after much hemming and hawing, I was finally able to to get the polish removal started to which he said what did she put on your nails to which I said I have no idea. I don’t work here- after several exchanges like this I realized that I was going to run out of time. I have to go to work. I am here with Harry Potter and the cursed child and I have a show tonight. I was told to come back tomorrow which I cannot do. I can’t return until Friday so this is what my nails look like now I cannot recommend this place at all and not even sure if I will be returning on Friday to get this fixed. so maybe for a one time job you can go here but if you really trying to establish a relationship with somebody to get your nails done on a regular basis, this is not the place

ivy reyes Love this nail salon. I love the ambiance and the staff who do my nails. Rose did my manicure and Isabella for my pedicure today. Both did an awesome job. I initially chose a light blue nail polish but changed my mind. Rose was very understanding and allowed me to change it. Both were professional and not pushy with add ons.

Fanny Fernandez Emmy is not careful at all. Told her stop where it hurts but didn’t listen. She was doing her job really fast and she had two clients at a time.

Pooky Poof They were all very kind, but their work made me want to go cry as soon as I got home. I don’t want to say anything bad about their work because of how sweet they were, but my set was not worth $55. I cannot speak about their abilities to do regular manicures, but if your looking to get long acrylics, don’t come here. The acrylics were too thick and what I got looked nothing close to what I wanted. The second picture is what I wanted, and the one with the caption is what I got. Girl, they did me dirty.

Kelsie Suokas I recently moved and my nails and cuticles were an absolute wreck from opening lots of packages and all of the cleaning. Tanya made them beautiful and healthy again! She also helped reshape a few nails so they all match. I love the attention to detail and quality of a Russian manicure!

Sarah La Pearl Viktoriia is an exceptional nail tech! She is precise, talented, any creative. Since I started going to her two years ago, I’ve had so many compliments on my nails. It is all because of her! The manis last four weeks and the colors stay vibrant and polished.

Lauren Sugar Lo Spa in Lakeshore East is consistently phenomenal. They’re close to home for me and every time I need a last minute walk in, they squeeze me in and do a great job! I’ve probably had 5+ various techs over the years and every single one has done a great job. Salon itself is clean and beautiful. And they have a ton of color options - Which are also organized and easy to find. Love this place!

Allison Hegner I started going to Fabulous Nails as my friends were ranting and raving about their nails…. And they were right! Sindy & the team are always so friendly and welcoming when I walk into the salon. I have been going to Sindy for 6 + months and in that time I have had ONE nail chip…. ONE in 6 months! My manicures also easily last 2.5-3 weeks each time I go. Not only do they have literally any color you could ask for, but the salon is super clean as well. Overall, I truly have nothing negative or any critics for Fabulous Nails! I enjoy going to get my nails done and they are done well, efficiently, and the price is very fair. I would highly recommend Fabulous Nails to anyone looking for a new salon!

Shena Mohan It’s been awhile since I’ve checked out this place and it has new management. I am pleased how well my experience went. I walked in the afternoon of Thursday and it was not busy at all. I was able to get a no chip pedi and mani as well as an eyebrow wax. Sindy is very personable. There are a lot of options/colors and I will definitely come again. I think the prices are very reasonable compared to the other neighborhood nail salons.
