Linda Dropski My 3rd visit, first time ver good. 2nd time she cut my toe and had so much nail polish it was dropping off. However, gave it another chance. The woman was so nice and attentive and tried so desperately hard to do a good job. I even tipped her, but I am near tears, I will never go back again. Sorry!

Was trying a new location because my prior saloon was getting a little too sure of themselves and not doing a good job, and rushing through appoint to get to next over booked schedule. Maria I had an amazing experience at Blossom Nails! I came in with a vision for a colorful spring checkered Gel-X set, and my nail tech absolutely nailed it! The attention to detail was incredible, and she worked with so much patience to make sure every tiny square was perfect. The colors are vibrant, the shape is flawless, and I love how they turned out. Not only did they do a great job, but every time I get my nails done here they last beautifully without chipping or lifting for 3+ weeks. If you’re looking for precision, creativity, and top-tier service, Blossom Nails is the place to go. Highly recommend!

The place was amazing, service super fast - even on a busy day as just a walk-in - and prices were beyond reasonable. Will be coming back here for any nail needs in the future! So glad I dropped in!

Autumn Tripp Apparently google only allows one post per business- so I am adding my recent experience as well my original post. Recent experience: I had the pleasure to have Jojo do my nails today. I’m usually the kind of person to stick to my routine and not deviate too much. I decided to change from ombré to white French tips- and a small design (first time ever). Jojo was sooooo good. She gave me the cutest little pumpkins and added some sparkle to the white parts of my French tips. This place is really the best ever!!! 3 months ago: Im so amazed by Brian. I thought I knew what great nails were- but Brian really set a new bar. His work was quick and extremely well done. He is kind and has great service. Sometimes I get the Ombré from other places and the nail is thick and there’s this bump in the middle- and the tip is SUPER thick….and this is the first place that my nails don’t do that. I highly recommend. I would say I found my permanent nail place. Please don’t mind my dry skin in the picture- the nails are perfect.

Leticia Hernandez Tried the dip for the first time. Asked for round but looks like almonds to me, pointy. Got them done on a Sunday morning 4 days later my pointy nail cracked. None of my nails were smooth. You can see the bump where the extention was added on each nail. I called Friday to get my nail fix. They had availability but I was unable to go until Tuesday 12/21. They took me in I asked to get all my nails removed, I did tell them that it was less than a week when my nail broke. I told them that my nails were pointy and not round, didnt seem to care. No apology nor anything.. at that point I did not get friendly vibe after that. Charge me $10 to get them remove and they didnt add anything to my nails after removing them. They look terrible and unhealthy now. I would never go back nor recommend this place.

Paige Dearth Jojo ALWAYS takes care of me, very quick to respond to appointment requests! Such a beautiful & relaxing environment to get your nails done however you want. You tell them what you want & they execute better than you could’ve imagined! Highly recommend :)

Melissa Debartolo Ive recently started going to this salon within the last year. I came here to see my regular nail tech, Anna. Ive been seeing her since 2020 and I drive 45 mins to Plainfield just to see her! She always does an incredible job and I get so many compliments on my nails. I get dip nails usually and they are never ever super thick or lumpy like I unfortunately experienced before I started seeing her. She is new to this salon so I wanted to give her a shout out! Dont sleep on her, she is the best!

Evynn Davis had been coming here for 9 months and just had the absolute worst experience ever at a nail salon. unfortunately no one gave me their names in this interaction. the young-ish guy who did my nails (not Tony) did an absolutely abhorrent job. he was rushing because he “had another client”. i got dip powder and he kept adding things to the nail process without telling me what it was. he added something and said “they’re going to have a hard time getting that off” whatever the HELL that means, I’m scared. he messed up my top coat 3x before giving up and saying he was done. i got up to leave because i was exhausted and frustrated and was resigned to coming back the next day to get them fixed. simple: if you have clients, DO NOT accept a walk-in, rush service, and destroy their skin & nails. i sat down in my car and he had cured gel UV to my skin on the back of my hand (like, on my finger knuckles!) and the UV gel from my nail to my finger tip. i was bleeding and in pain. i couldn’t get the gel off by picking at it myself so i went back in. the older woman who runs the front desk said that there was nothing they could do to fix it today and to come back tomorrow when they have time. they ended up taking me after i was crying and begged them to do something because of the actual pain i was in. the younger woman who fixed my nails was extremely polite, professional, and got them fixed for me. even took delicate care of peeling off the nail polish instead of using acetone because she didn’t want to dry out my skin. i wish i got her name because every time she has done my nails they have been great. two stars because after 15 times of going to this salon, this was the only negative experience. no discount, no refund, nothing for the pain and mistakes on their end. $67 for this endeavor before any tips given out (and yes, i tipped the guy who made me bleed. as crappy as a job he did, he still did a service). i can barely do regular daily tasks like close a window or wash my hands because of the cuts on my fingers from the guy who did them. time to find a new nail salon unfortunately.

Dawn Clifton I absolutely love this place. After moving here 2 years ago I have tried all the local nail salons, and this is where I chose to make my nail home. Kim is noticeably a tech favorite, however, Nicole is my go to. They also just updated their pedicure chairs which includes wireless charging for your phone. The prices are very competitive (I actually believe they are lower than the popular local salon down the road). As long as I am living in my home I will always be a customer and refer people here. (Which is easy because I always get compliments on my nails). Thank you A&B Nails for excellent service all the time!

But her nail tech gave her advice on the colors and suggested a even better design by adding the pretty glitter hearts. They always do a wonderful job, very professional, polite and honest. Highly recommend this location!

Sabrina Skowron Emma has been doing my hair for years and I truly would not trust anyone else. She is thorough and my hair always looks amazing. On top of it she is the sweetest and her salon feels like home! I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a good cut, color and even wax!

Angelina Truhlar Amazing place for waxing, haircut, hair styling, and many more! Devin is super nice and highly recommend very else is nice too, all the ladies that work their are super nice and easy to talk to. The body waxing is very nice and last up to 4 week, go check them out!

Patricia Celjuska I have been going to Bella Nora for about 6 months now and I always request my appointments to be done with Jessica because she is amazing! She not only helps me figure out a color and design but her work is very detailed and high quality. She always make sure to ask throughout the appointment if I like the shape, the color and the design. She takes her time and I never feel rushed. Overall the salon itself is beautiful and the staff are very nice and understanding.

Lisa Szewczyk I have been coming the Bella Nora for almost 2 years now and the service is incredible. They have recently made it so much easier to make appointments online and also still crept walk-Ins! Jessica is amazing and always meticulous about how my nails look! My dip manicures last very nicely for at least 3 weeks (even though I get them done every other week). The salon is very clean and the choices of colors ( for dip manicure that I get) and designs to choose from is far more than other salons I have been to! Great local small business. You won’t be disappointed!

Briana Gluszek I usually love this place and this is my go to nail salon. However, I made an appointment on Thursday 5/8 for 4pm, getting ready for Mother’s Day - and was so rushed the entire time. The tech tried to skip straight to filing and I wanted them shaped, did not ask prior. Was told by the tech they only had an hour to get my services done. Fast forward to today and nails are so bubbly and chunky and not my style. I don’t think I’ll be returning. Not very happy at all.

Kaylee they aren’t bad overall but she did not even try matching the tips to my nails.. it looks like they are a week old and i got them done yesterday.

A Balzeris If I could rate ZERO I would. While the shop looks nice on the surface it is actually quite dirty. I have never had a nail tech argue with me that the nail they glued on me was crooked. I have never been belittled for choosing regular polish over no chip. But I now know why, its because they dont actually know how to properly apply regular nail polish so that it drys and doesnt look bad. I could still smell it drying HOURS latter. Two days later I find that the tips arent even glued down well when I have to dig food out from them.

Sheri Cartalino Wouldn’t recommend. Came in for a fill in. Another lady can in after me. We didn’t have an appointment. The man in station 1 said 5 to 10 minutes. 20 minutes has been gone by at this point. After waiting 1/2 hour he calls the woman who came after me and said another girl is just about done. She was chit chatting with the patron and hadn’t even wrong her up yet. I put the polish down and was getting ready to walk out and the guy said the other girl was done. Clearly they were busy taking, so I left. Wouldn’t go back.

Bethany Pulido I will forever love this salon! Since my mom started dating again when I was 20 she met her hubbie who lives in New Lenox and we first started going there. By 2019 they were married and moved in together and we started going there regularly. The only original worker from when I started going there monthly is Tina. Although all the current workers are kind, courteous and well trained I will always love her work in particular. Given she has done my nails the most I know her capabilities and I often do repeat designs throughout the seasons and holidays. My nails grow very long when I get no chip manicures here because they really dont chip. Given the no-chip gel. I take my family, friends and of course my mom. She goes more than I do. But yes, I highly recommend salon.

Anne C Great location, great staff, and nice environment. Sarah runs an amazing salon and is super caring for all her customers. Sarah & Sam always do wonderful work! The colors, even creative and unique ones can be achieved. All the staff are kind and willing to engage in conversation with you to help you feel welcome.

Michelle Knobeloch Jessica H is the best. When I first started going to her, I felt like she listened to what I wanted. Jessica is extremely patient; I never feel rushed. I highly recommend her. I love my hair every time I have my hair done by her.

Daniela Melendez I loved my experience here. I chose Tanya Miranda as my stylist based on a review I saw and Im so glad I did. She was really easy to talk to and understood what I wanted. I got my hair washed, cut, blowdried and curled for $45. I got a trim, long layers, and face framing. Being there was so relaxing and my hair felt so soft and bouncy. Im so happy with my hair and I definitely recommend.

Kristina I havent had my nails done in 20+ years. I found this place on Google and looked at the reviews. I decided to give this place a try. I had my nails done by Tony and his wife. Both of them did an amazing job and they are sooo close to my home. What a win/win! Tony did an amazing job on my nails!! He is sooo fast and does it to perfection. Im VERY picky and he does an amazing job every time! He is patient and listens to all my concerns. He has a wonderful personality and will fix anything i feel that does not meet up to my expectations lol. I never leave disappointed. Thank you for always doing a great job A+!!! I highly recommend this salon they are very flexible and will fit you in when you need anything done. I got a pedicure done by a young girl and she did an amazing job as well. Definitely come here they are great and worth your time.

Jenny vargas So I am not the person to write reviews .... but for this instance I had to... it was my first time going to get a dip at this place... these nails are exactly a week from the time i got them done! yes one already fell off and not from the two that fell after 3 days and i had to get it re done again.... Im not sure if its the technique or cheap product... but needless to say i will never come back here and i am very dissapointed...

Kate Miller Tried for the first time today. Was rushed and nails look terrible. 45.00 “manicure” but never cut cuticles. Just used drill. Pedicure was average at very least. My cuticles are crusty and the polish is streaky. Won’t ever go back.

Laura bowers I wish there was an explanation for the stars. I think of all the nail places I have been to, Jen Nails has the biggest selection..if you ask, of different polishes and different types of style Chrome…. Like that. I would still be going there if I had the courage to make an appointment with a different tech. But I went to her for about a year or a little more so it would be uncomfortable. The tech also was hit or miss. One time it was awesome then the next time it wasn’t. She barely speaks English but the owner is in front of her and she usually translates. Let me say I always give minimum 30% tip. I have worked were tips really count…. The straw that broke the camels back is when she like hurt me… ya know where it gets hot. I am not mad about that I am mad about her reaction. I flinched and like pulled my hand like towards myself and she literally crossed her arms and said you need to stay still? And I just got tired of EVERYTIME telling her boss to tell her that I didn’t want them thick…. I mean after how many times I go there she shouldn’t keep being told…also it seemed like she understood everything I was saying but once in awhile I had to have the owner translate. She was so unfriendly and never smiled. I just got sick of begging how I wanted my nails… just not to thick and almond shaped. And o felt like she was talking about me in her language. I never was rude to her or anything. But I shouldn’t have to kiss her butt so she would do my nails right? So I now go somewhere else where they don’t have nearly as many choices but my nails are done right without me begging. But I sure wish I could go back and get someone else!!! It stinks…I was a sales manager at very large furniture store for 23 years… which is why I say if I were her boss she would be fired for the way she treats customers. She barely spoke English but she sure learned how to be rude!

A - Dominque’s African braiding shop is a hidden gem !!! I would definitely go back if I’m in town. My hair still looks great 3 weeks later, it was a really great salon experience! Very friendly, professional, and the other clients were cool and easy going as well. It was refreshing in this day and age

Andrea K First time here and pleasantly surprised. Small cozy salon very busy so I recommend making appointments online. The salon also has waxing and nail services as well as several hair products available. Staff was very kind and knowledgeable. My 4 stars is due to the wait time for my appointment as I was seen 30mins after my appointment time which I found to be excessive.

Courtney Janchenko Highly recommend a trip to Tru Salon and booking a visit with Faye. Location was easy to find. I felt very comfortable throughout my cut and style appointment. Will definitely be returning. My daughter, age 8, also has her hair cut here. Michelle Miuccio On a busy Saturday afternoon I took my chances and flew in to Soleil Nails. Brian was able to take me as soon as I walked in, repaired a broken nail, do a fill, and polish me in under 45 minutes! Not only did he get me in fast, but he did a great job! I like everything about my nails, including how close he got to my cuticle! I appreciate him so much and I’ll definitely be back!

Stakina Harris I live in the city and needed 2 nails repaired and a fill in. The nail tech suggested I start fresh so I agreed. He also pointed out that one of my nails were at risk of fungus (I wash my hands very often at work). I greatly appreciated the heads up. He asked how would I like my nails. I told him coffin shaped and I like a natural curve to my nail. He struggled to achieve the look that I was going for so I just told him to do it his way. My nails are okay but definitely not what I’m use to. The acrylic is not constant and they are thin. I’m hoping they don’t break as this is Labor Day weekend (nail salons will be closed until Tuesday) . I needed a quick fix because I couldn’t go to my regular salon. I was hoping that this location could be my back-up salon but it’s not. They are pricey too! I’ve never paid that much for nail removal.

Jenny Richardson I took my niece for a pedicure for her birthday and they were so kind and did a great job! They laughed with her when her feet were ticklish and listened when she mentioned things were too hot and adjusted accordingly. She had such a good time and I am definitely now aunt of the year. :) Would definitely recommend and will definitely be back!
