Kaylee Melching Where do I start???? I have never left a review in my life, but felt like this needed to addressed. Think twice before going. Went in 3 days ago for a full set and a pedicure. Both with gel polish. I chose the $50 pedicure w/ the $15 extra for gel polish. My pedicure didn’t include everything that was listed on the sheet and didn’t last long at all. My toenails were cut at different lengths. Feet felt like they did when I walked in…after the pedicure I went over to have my nails done. The lady doing my nails caught my skin so many times with the drill. When I’d say “ow” she would smile and say “huh” and “I so sorry” and proceeded to continue to catch my skin. Nails are different thicknesses. None are the same length. Not the same shape and are bumpy…I provided a VERY simple design. One I could’ve done myself. She acted like she didn’t really want to do it. In the photo, the design was on a tanish color. She proceeded to paint it pink….i went along thinking it might look okay. Well it didn’t. I told her I didn’t like it and wanted it redone. She didn’t really want to, but it got fixed. It was now something I could deal with looking at. The whole time I was there I kept being told by another lady that the one doing my toes and nails doesn’t understand much and she just kind of does what she wants. A couple days after having everything done and paying $130 for it all…. my GEL POLISH peeled right off my toes! I went in and had them fix my toes….I of course got blamed and questioned for my toes peeling. I’ve never had gel polish peel like that and I’ve been getting my toes and nails done for 8+ years. Not only are my toes peeling again after they were “fixed”, but so are my nails. Definitely won’t be going back. (My toes are bare, they were painted black…)

Grace Casey I have never left a bad review in my life but after my experience with American Nails, I felt I needed to. I usually go to US nails (which I LOVE and highly recommend) but they are on vacation so I decided to try out a new place. I needed a soak off but instead, she ripped my nails off with a nail tip. Acrylics start at $40 but somehow, cutting my nails down and removing my old nails costs $20 extra. When she started applying the acrylic, I kid you not, it was running off the tip of my nail and dripping onto a napkin. Out of the years of getting my nails done consistently, I have never seen that in my life so I KNOW that’s not normal. Once the acrylic was applied, I had to “dry” my nails under a fan while she went in the back for something. I tested my nails and they were literally bending at the tip. She also asked questions to get to know me. I told her I wasn’t currently working so she assumed my mom was paying for my nails, even though I’m about to be 21 years old. She asked to CALL my mom and see if she was okay paying this much money for nails. Speaking of that, I wanted a classic french tip with bows on them and chrome powder. They completely overcharged me, saying the bows will be $20 and the chrome powder will be an ADDITIONAL $20. At this point, we were up to $100, which is when she asked to call my mom. I ended up not liking the bows she drew and just went with the chrome powder, but I have never paid $80 for chrome french tips. Once it was time to check out and I handed her my card, she asked me what I wanted to tip. I said I’ll handle that and she said “no it’s easier this way, just tell an amount.” I wasn’t going to tip anything obviously, but felt pressured once she asked. The next day, my nails were so sore so I assume they drilled them down way too much. Moral of the story is I would never recommend this place, even to my enemies. I genuinely question if they were trained or know what they are doing at all. Only reason I’m giving 2 stars is because they don’t look horrible, even though they weren’t what I wanted. Hopefully, others have better experiences but sadly, mine was not one of those.

Marissa Martin I asked for red nails. I got red nails. They were beautiful. I turned to my mom to talk to her for a minute and the lady started putting this powder on my nails. She started with the ring finger so I said “okay but just my ring fingers”. She repeated “just the ring fingers, okay”. Then she went on with my pinky, and I said “no more I don’t like this” and she proceeded to keep going with all of my fingers. I didn’t know what to do so I gave in and let her keep going. I find it disrespectful. They understand the words “no”. Then, she charged me for the “unicorn powder”. I am so upset and defeated. Now, I have to find another nail place to redo my nails.

Syd Sanderson I have heard really good things about this nail salon so I tried it for the first time a few weeks ago. The first time I went in I had a gentlemen that did my nails. Needless to say, he did a great job and I thought the pricing was very reasonable. I decided to come back for a second time a couple weeks later which happened to be today. When I walked in the salon it seemed pretty busy, however I went ahead and took a seat. After waiting around 30 minutes a lady had me come sit at her table. I waited for her to finish a pedicure for another customer. Once she came over she was very visibly in a hurry. As people were coming in and out she began to work quicker. I noticed that she didn’t spend any time on my hang nails or making sure that there wasn’t any polish or glue on my skin. I felt pushed out at the end. After I washed my hands and walked towards the register I was visibly upset. She came over and said oh it’s just glue and filed only 2 of my nails. I left super disappointed. After spending money and time at the nail salon the last thing that I want to do is come home and file/scrape the skin around my nails to make them look acceptable for my plans this weekend. Unfortunately, I will be finding a new nail salon after this experience. I had polish on my skin, glue on my skin, hang nails, and you could see through the polish because she didn’t do enough coats. I understand that it’s busy and there are a lot of customers, however it would be nice to receive the service that I am paying for. I will include pictures below.

Leana Houghlan This is so crazy I have to do this but the only good employee is the male who works in there. I got a pedicure bcuz I have extra skin on the bottom of my teeth. The woman pulls my foot out of the water and says "wow "shaking her head and mind you there are multiple ppl in the room and can hear her! This is uncalled for! I cant control my foot condition! The women in there need to take some customer service lessons and attitude management classes!

ayla strong I’ve been coming here regularly and loved it but recently the design lady/ possible owner has been really snippy with me, and my mom also said she experienced the same thing. My mom went about a week before me and got chrome, but the chrome turned the entire nail a blue or purple color that she didn’t want, and when questioned, the design lady got loud and snapped at her and said “it’s just what I use” and when I went today, she put matte on my nails and as soon as I noticed, I said “oh Im sorry I meant for it to have a shiny coat.” She got mad and zoomed in on my inspo picture and said “these are matte. not shiny” it was the end of my service, but she started slamming her paints/tools. I also realized after I left that she put gold and silver balls on my nails when the picture was just gold- my mistake for not looking, but surprised she was so particular with the picture when I said something, but did her own thing with the mixed metals. Also developed a rash on the bottom half of my legs after my pedicure… Sad to say I won’t be back because they do an amazing job, just not very sanitary and not the way paying customers should be treated! my inspo pic was the girl wearing the sweater

Dana Bleier Nuspl I used to get my nails done here all the time, but hadn’t been in about a year. Walked in today and it’s BEAUTIFUL in here! The remodel is perfect and the service and pricing was as good as it’s always been!

Teresa leible Wow reading the review from 2mo ago is basically what I just went through. Im usually a goer here but not anymore. I asked if my dipped nails could be filed a bit more so they dont look too thick and I thought she was going to take my head off! Had a big additude after and even talked about me to the others in their language! Very unprofessional to a paying customer. When I went to pay it was more than I ever payed there. Ive had this same design and everything before and didnt pay that much. Maybe theyre getting burnt out idk!? But sad to say they lost a loyal customer!
