Greg bo Tough to get an appointment because theyre booked out so far. We were looking for a new mechanic and decided to try these folks based on the reviews and the fact theyre close by. They solved the immediate problem and found some other serious issues that are going to take a while to sort out but they are working with us to get it done. So far Im impressed with the level of customer service and rates seem reasonable. Ill probably upgrade to 5 stars if things continue to go well.

Stew Cook Great service! They are incredibly honest and transparent on issues with your vehicle. They also pay attention to the state of your vehicle and give you options to save the most money rather than trying to get you to pay for repairs that might not be worth it in the end, something I havent really encountered much with mechanics! Tim Nicodemus Joe is the owner and is an honest man. He can get you in, and 99% of the time, you can get your car back the same day. He is very reasonably priced and an amazing mechanic. All around, he is a great guy.

tim nelson Have been coming here for a long time, usually happy, until now. Had vibrations in front suspension and steering wheel movement. They had the vehicle for a week, spent $300 on rental car. The repair bill was almost $400, NO parts replaced, they were able to "fix" the bad part. I drove it home and had the same issues. Spoke to Joe he told me my tires were bad. Had the tires rotated and surprise no more problem.

Maximus Prime Victor and ray at speedy Autocare are one of the best mechanics in town. it only costed approximately 4500 to have the motor replaced in my best friends Chrysler 200. they also gave us a loan on the repairs for the manifold which was the part that blew the gasket to blow the motor in the first place. all together it costed close to 4500$. i will tell you and promote speedy Autocare to fix your own vehicle also. They also do extensive good body detail work on broken cars too and charge less than the average business in town.

Natasha Cunningham This shop is full of scammers I would give zero stars. I originally took my vehicle because I rear ended someone and also asked for my exhaust to be fixed. Not only did they not fix my exhaust my insurance approved to fit my ac condenser which they claimed to fixed but isn’t working and when asked for proof of purchase they couldn’t provide any. The owner or whoever Ray is doesn’t have any morals or integrity he’s a liar and he knows I know they just scammed me so when I was leaving clearly upset he says “have a blessed day”.They’ll be out of business in not time!!!!!!!

Jose G Camacho Jr Second time I’ve been to Carpenter Auto & Transmission. The first time was for the water pump, early last year and this week for the rear brakes. Service is always great and the work, excellent. The Staff is friendly and will let you know what needs to be done before they start the work. Hopefully I won’t need any major work done for a while, but if I do Carpenter’s will be my go to Auto repair shop.

Keith Johnson A noise was coming from the right rear wheel of my work van. I called Eismans and spoke with Sean. He thought based on some history I gave it probably was the emergency brake shoes sticking. I told him I was close by and asked if he could look at it today if I got there in 10 minutes or less. He said he could. When I got there him and Sam got me in the garage immediately and did an inspection. The suspicion was confirmed. The problem was taken care of within an hour and I was able to return to work. Sam and Sean are pros. I highly recommend them.

One of the mechanics, Damian, was awesome and explained everything that was needed and even made some great recommendations of things I hadnt thought of. The price was also far less than I expected to pay for the various work that needed to be done. I would highly recommend Teds Auto Service. One of the best mechanics Ive worked with in Rockford.

ANGIE R I was referred to this garage by one of my coworkers and let me just say I am so glad she mentioned them. My serpatine belt needed to be replaced ASAP and I called them and they got me in first thing the next day. They were very knowledgeable and communicated with me very well as I asked for them to call and let me know the cost etc ahead of time. I also had an issue with my exhaust and they didnt just try to make a bunch of money off of me. They honestly recommended another garage who could fix it for less and everything! I respect people who arent just trying to rip you off and make a buck. So thank you Pings! We will def come back for any future repairs that we may need!
