Cindy Walker I just had my first visit as a new patient at Family Roots Dentistry where I was seen by Dr. Mike and one of the hygienists there, Tiffany. Tiffany was so friendly and welcoming. She was so good at making the effort to understand what made me unique as a patient. She was meticulous and thorough in her care but also kept me very comfortable. She has such a nice touch with her instruments! Dr Mike was wonderful! He really listens and is very understanding about special needs and concerns. He is friendly but also calm and confident and you can tell that confidence is coming from extensive knowledge of dentistry beyond the usual. From the start to the finish of my visit I felt very much welcomed and cared for and knew my care was in very good hands!

Kurt Lynne Super awesome dentist. Very accommodating - state of the art facility. Had an issue over the weekend and happened to message the office and the doctor responded and since it was an emergency they squeezed me in Monday morning. Totally awesome and great staff.

Dawn Harrington Since being fortunate enough to have found Family Roots Dental a few years ago, I have been extremely pleased with all aspects of the office. Everyone in the office is kind, helpful and welcoming. As an extreme "dental chicken", starting with a new dentist can be a very scary endeavor and one that is laced with abundant anxiety. My hygienist, Stephanie, has gone out of her way to not only make sure I am comfortable but to welcome any questions or concerns I may have. Dr. Mike is easy going, laid back and easy to talk to. As with Stephanie, Im encouraged to ask any questions I may have. I would definitely recommend this office, especially for those of you reading this review who need a little extra TLC.

David LaBuda Dr. Patel is awesome. My previous dentist told me that my teeth were a lost cause and that he would not work on them anymore, unless I let him pull them all out and give me a set of false teeth. Dr.Patel with a combination of fillings and crowns to save existing teeth as well as implants to replace missing teeth, provided me most importantly functional and pain free teeth, but also as an added benifit better looking teeth. Thank you Dr. Patel !

Cynthia Rinda Wonderful, lovely people. But unless you can drop at least $60,000 you are kind of up a creek without a paddle. I was in as much in pain when I left as when I arrived. I am not bitter, such nice staff but I am not rich.

Check Truth Friendly staff. Thats about it. Way overpriced. Was going to do 2 unnecessary procedures. Had gotten two other Dentists opinions and recommendations. Go to them if you want to pay for 30% more for fillings, extractions and implants. But hey, enjoy your $283.00 cup of Keurig Coffee.

Lisa Sadowski The dentists are very caring and knowledgeable. I always feel comfortable here and they make things easy. My only suggestion would be the last dental hygienist that I had a few days ago kind of rushed me when I needed to have the water suction out of my mouth. I told her that had a gag reflex and needed to remove all the Degree out of my mouth before she continued cleaning my teeth, but it seemed like much of the time she removed it before I wanted it removed . I hadn’t had this issue with the other hygienist. The dentist is very caring and knowledgeable and patient

Nicola Begley This place is a revolving door for Dentist. Its like its the only place that takes Doctors right out of school. My child had a root canal and then told he has to get all 4 wisdom teeth removed before capping the root canal. It took almost a year to finally get a hold of the oral surgeon and make an appointment. We set the appointment for the cap and all of a sudden he has 4 cavities and in between teeth so that would be a lot of unnecessary drilling that could damage other teeth, and was most likely caused by doing the root canal. They refused to cap his root canal until this was done. Dr. Samson is the dentist who my child was seeing. Hes condescending and extremely rude. He thinks hes better than everyone because hes got a dental degree. He said "Its not my fault your child doesnt floss, thats a parenting problem." Instead of being a village and helping me to make my child understand how important it is to floss cause us parents know how hard it is to get our kids to understand repercussions. And how our children think were full of it. Do not bring your children here, they will turn a simple procedure into a large one to make money and get practice for their careers. They dont care about the patient, they are more worried about their career and money!

Very patient, took time to explain everything to me regarding all my kids never have I recieved great service here in my previous cisits as today !! Ashley Benson BEWARE OF FRAUD! I just got off the phone with the manager Caitlin, WHO KEEPS HANGING UP ON ME WHEN I AM INFORMING THEM OF MY CURRENT BALANCE. Stay away from this place, the manager is abusive and neglecting to take care of their billing issues. I am reporting the manager as well as The Mchenry Dentist to the Illinois state medical board and as far as contacting the insurance company to inform them of fraud. They are a terrible office, the manager must be a very young girl the fact she can’t hold a conversation is beyond unprofessional. Wait until I sent in the fraudulent billing AND DENTAL WORK they claimed I needed turns out they were trying to charge me over 50% more than it should cost. Illinois Medicaid has already been informed. I am taking action and the manager was recorded for the record, please beware. By the way, I’m 7 months pregnant if that makes any potential clients think twice about coming in here. This is how they treat a women caring a child with well know health issues on top of it. Shame on the manager. You are not right in the head.

deathblack85 First off going in is ok. I was asked my occupation 3 or 4 times (If you include the questionnaire they give you). Came for basic cleaning but came out for a quote for deep cleaning $1680. I came early and was the only one in the lobby but I had to wait 1 hour and half just to exam my teeth and gum. Not sure because I’m new but felt scammed. After everything is done, they told me they don’t have time for basic routine cleaning. Don’t go here unless you like giving your money away!

Maria Anisimova Horrible experience- came to the office as a new patient, scheduled appointment 2 weeks before - were told the cost of the appointment for new patient is $190 for x-rays and full mouth exam, but the girl on the front desk told me that is going to cost $435. No explanation , no excuses. It’s kind of a big difference from the original price over the phone to whatever she came up with. But, if it’s makes them more happy to lose the new patient from not training employees correctly - that fine for me. There is a lots of bad reviews about money issues, so I guess I’m not the first, and not the last.

I recently had 4 crowns done in one day I was scared but she made me comfortable got my temps on next day got my permanents I Love love them. Thank you Dr Yanna !! Also want to mention the front desk helped me tremendously with insurance and helping me with options for payments. They have all the new technology that makes your visit so much better. . Lucees Went in for an exam and cleaning, were able to fill a cavity and do a cleaning same day. Extremely professional and in order. Dr. Yana was very comforting and assured my visit was exceptional, as coming from someone afraid of the dentist. Alas, I’ll be going back to my previous dentist—if for no other reason than we both agree that we’re currently living in the year 2025. I only had one appointment here, and I don’t want to be mean—especially since they asked for this review—but on multiple concerns I raised and questions I asked about my dental health, the responses from Dr. Kay felt surprisingly outdated. Not in a charming, old-school way—in a “wait, is this still how we’re doing things?” kind of way. The staff was warm and lovely. The whole experience felt like being offered a rotary phone at an Apple Store—kind of quaint, kind of confusing. Dorae I went in for a crown replacement as it was quite old. Dr. Amanda was so concerned on how I was doing she came up with an alternative to the mouth piece to keep my mouth open. I really appreciate that. So caring about her patients. Will continue with this office as both doctor and staff are amazing.

Joe Meehan Dr Kay and Melinna were a very welcoming team. Their professionalism is unprecedented. They walked me through the entire process, and were very thorough. My first dental exam in a number of years and I know now that I picked the right office. Kerry walked me through the billing process and went over a number of options. I highly recommend this dental office.

Lynn Cotner I recently had to have a crown replaced and Dr. Esha did an amazing job and is very gentle. She was very patient with my nervous questions . Dr. Bansal has always been very caring and skilled as well and has done great work for me. Morgan the dental assistant is kind and explains a lot to me about follow ups, etc. The entire staff is kind and very welcoming and as someone who is there a lot- I appreciate this.

chase feldman I was up in Illinois visiting family and was having horrible dental pain, Dental Arts was able to get me in quick and I ended up needing a root canal. Dr. Esha was very gentle and caring through out the whole process, and did an amazing job! Very grateful for the whole staff that did this on the spot so I could enjoy the rest of my visit!

Dr Lee and Dr Haraden always have time to drop in for a quick chat regarding my teeth but also conversation regarding family and general well being. I have been a patient for over 20 years.

They have added Drs and each one has been very professional and skilled. Our Dental Hygienists have also changed due to our schedules but again, each one has been excellent in caring for our teeth. I want to praise one, Erin has taken extra care in my teeth with recommending more cleaning methods for daily care. Joie Devoney Never have I ever had the experience I had at Cary Dental! First, the clinic is perfect! The aesthetics of the clinic is gorgeous! Windows everywhere to bring light. Then after I checked in, Marisa (who is perfection) introduced me to literally everyone st the practice. I felt so cared for even before I sat in a treatment chair! Marisa and Dr Sara gave me a great consult and phenomenal conversation! Dr Sara is smart and personable. She will never steer you wrong! After the thorough consultation, I had a great dental cleaning with Deb who is absolutely wonderful, gentle yet so thorough to the point where I genuinely felt immediate relief from the cleaning - I know it sounds odd but I literally had no idea was actually weighing on me. Again, I know it sounds odd but it is true! Even with the deep cleaning I received, it was painless! I thought for sure from previous experiences that I would be sore but it was (believe it or not) easy! And the conversation was amazing! Love Deb!!! Lastly, the staff is impeccable! Kind, knowledgeable, and so supportive! Saving the best for last, I’ve unfortunately had a lot of dental work in my life and I have never had such a pleasant experience as I did today at Cary Dental! I’m giving the highest recommend ever! If I could give 5 stars….Cary Dental would get 50! Oh, get their chapstick! Game changer!!! P.S. the client demographic is some of the top people! Christina Reyna We had a dental emergency on a Sunday. I had called my daughter’s dentist and their emergency line wasn’t working. Any other dentist I spoke to wouldn’t take her cause she wasn’t an existing patient. Dr. Farr called me back right away and was very reassuring she would be ok and he would see her first thing Monday morning. We showed up Monday morning when their office opened and the staff was extremely nice and helpful. Dr. Farr immediately took her to a chair and began working on her. She had taken a softball to her two front teeth. He made her feel comfortable and fixed her up perfectly. I decided to move her over to Dr. Farr’s office as a patient. I highly recommend this office and Dr. Farr. I’m very grateful for him!

Vivienne I have crippling anxiety, which prevented me from going to a dentist for years. Unfortunately, the neglect was bad and I needed to go to have some issues looked at. I called Aspen dental ahead and let them know of my severe anxiety and they assured me they understood and that I could have my husband with me the entire time. Everyone who worked with me was so incredibly nice, patient, understanding, and supportive. I had x-rays, a full digital mouth scan, met with the hygienist, the doctor, the coordinator, and had a full deep cleaning. I was there for three hours and never had a panic attack or felt one coming. They listened to me about my concerns and thoroughly answered all of my many questions. I have to go back for some procedures and I’m not even worried. They truly made me feel cared for, and I love that the staff is primarily women. Everyone is so knowledgeable, kind, and supportive. I am actually looking forward to my next visit.
