Jessica Elmendorf They were lovely as the name implies. I was comfortable and they were gentle and took their time. The person that did my nails really took care to help me pick the colors that I had in my picture to make sure that it matched.

Emily Land I was expecting something totally different from looking at reviews. My nails are amazing. I loved this place. He was so meticulous about his work. He was nice and the hand massage was amazing afterwards!! If you’re uneasy because of the reviews, this is your sign to just go. You won’t regret it!

Brenna Hamson Unimpressed to say the least. The first picture is what I got, the second is what I asked for. I paid $51 for the nails and my left thumb isn’t even sealed so I now have fuzz and hair in the paint on that nail. Also have cut cuticles on three fingers. Will be looking for another salon.

2.Angels Studio Nails

Address: 15 W Lincoln Ave b, Charleston, IL 61920

(83) Reviews Angels Studio Nails:

Thomas Skinner Took mom for a pedicure and we had a great experience! Great service, good conversation, individual attention, clean, fresh, hot towels, great massage! Angel is staying busy and had to turn away a couple of walk-ins while we were there. Best to call ahead for an appointment.

Marlie Ward i went in for my appointment at 1:30 on the day of my homecoming because i can’t have nails for cheerleading and i had a game the day before. i walk in and he asks me my name and i tell him and he says that he took my appointment off the schedule because he had a few other girls tell him that i cancelled my appointment. instead of calling and asking he just completely cancelled it all together. i am beyond upset because i never cancelled my appointment nor did i plan on it.

Lindsey W Took my daughter for her homecoming nail appt. She was told that “two other girls said she was canceling her appointment” so it was given away to someone else. We never called to cancel her appointment. I truly feel they just overbooked themselves and didn’t want to take responsibility. Since it was homecoming, we couldn’t get her in anywhere else on short notice. No empathy at all, and if two girls truly did tell the owner my daughter was cancelling, why wasn’t she contacted to confirm this? Why take the word of some other random person? Just a really poor experience.

Haley Rankin They were very rude and the boy that did my nails asked if the guy I came with was “retarded”! They did my nails chunky and curved they look horrible , they don’t even go to the bed of my nail all the way they look like they could pop off. Don’t recommend coming here these were also 80 dollars. A bit overpriced.

5.Regal Nails, Salon & Spa

Address: 2250 Lincoln Ave, Charleston, IL 61920

(51) Reviews Regal Nails, Salon & Spa:

Kali Harris I went to Paul for a fill and reshape of my acrylics I had got done at a different salon and he did a great job! Very detailed with making sure the shape was to my liking and that there were no rough edges. They look great and I will definitely be returning to him for my next fill. Be sure to bring cash as the salon doesn’t take cash, but it’s in Walmart so it was easy to go buy something and get cash back to avoid any ATM fees. It was $37 before tip for gel polish and I think that it was well worth it. The salon was clean and I had no wait at all with just walking in when I went at noon on a Thursday.

Victoria Woollen-Danner Everything people say about the poor service and rude attitude is true. The last time I was there was the worst yet. It took a couple of hours, they never speak and act irritated with me. Every time I go my manicure is done differently. I never know what to expect. It’s stressful. I’ve encountered the guy who works there being rude and pushy. I begin to feel like I need to be super nice to try to make the experience more pleasant. Well, forget about it, it’s not going to get any better. My last manicure was so bad. She left small remnants of the acrylic nails on the ends of my nails. It worked like a fulcrum and broke right where my nails began and the fake ones ended, which is below where the nail bed begins. Quite painful and hideous to look at. I’ve left there with my fingers throbbing from the abrasion from filing my skin away. I’m done and won’t be returning.
