skyler harrison got my filling done TWO years ago went back three months later because it felt too big in my mouth yall said “it’s fine” well it wasn’t fine because it just snapped off my tooth i know my mouth i know my body i know when somethings wrong so you should listen to your patient’s more often. don’t worry about scheduling me for an emergency appointment i already have one at another dentists office where they’ll fix my tooth correctly.

Lindsey Lindberg I haven’t been to the dentist in almost 15 years. Embarrassing for me, but I never got dental insurance from work until now and understandably, I was very nervous. The whole team here was so nice and took extra care to explain everything they were doing so I could relax a little. I needed no work luckily but I’m almost excited to come back for my next cleaning haha. Thank you all!!

Michelle VanOpdorp Highly recommend going elsewhere!! Dr. Solis apparently does not not know what mouth cancer looks and does nothing to be proactive about it. He let me sit for months with a spot on my tongue before he finally sent me to River Valley oral surgery where they also did nothing. Told me it was leukoplakia and sent me home to come back when it turned into an ulcer. I had to go get a second opinion and finally got the care I needed. Now I’ve had 2 biopsies because another spot showed up after all this time and now I have to go to Iowa city to be treated for mouth cancer on my tongue. Worst experience of my life … always advocate for yourself we can’t even trust the professionals anymore when it’s there job!!

Jonnie Dolan Apparently there are no dentists in a 50-mile radius of where I live who could see me during an emergency. The person I talked to offered no alternatives, no suggestions, just dead air. Didnt even offer to check any other dates. Compiling my own list of dentists to call in the morning because apparently that was too much to ask of the emergency dental service. Man, and I thought the emergency vet hotline was bad.

Tom Kelley Dr.Pirog is a top notch dentist his work is always spot on. His office is always super clean an his staff are very professional and courteous and very respectful.

Jen McKittrick Never had time to see my son for problems, staff was rude and unhelpful, braces had to come off early due to not teaching my son properly about them. Said all retainers were paid for when I paid them up front, but when he needed new retainers they charged me another $300. Thousand of dollars paid and it didnt do any good.....took my youngest to a different ortho and listening to them explain everything, show exactly what she needed to do to benefit from the braces. They really care about their young patients. Very impressive considering what we went though with this ortho and rude staff.

brandy harris Avenue Family Dental is such a wonderful office. The staff and Doctor are amazing! Everyone was so helpful and made my family and I feel so comfortable.
