melodie richardson I usually have a great experience at Dawson. This time however I can’t say that. The hygienist was very nice. But also had her own opinions even on dental care that contradicted the cares I had received here at Dawson. As well, she forgot to polish my teeth. I mentioned this- she looked at her table and said something like oh I did! Well, it’s just to get any stains off anyway, and you don’t have any stains to get off. I really wanted the polish, but she made me feel I would be putting her out. So I did say it’s ok. It was alright to not polish my teeth. I come from Texas to have my teeth cleaned and my exam here. I was so disappointed. When I left, I was the last car in the parking lot. Then I felt like she was just trying to get rid of me so she could leave. This is my first band experience, but it was a very bad experience. However, the doctor was very good. Explain things was helpful. So it was just the hygienist that I had problems with. I’ve never ever asked to not see a certain hygienist, but I would please ask that I not see this one again thank you.

Aaron Dupree Ive been going here for years. No desire to go anywhere else.... I went to another place once and they wanted to do thousands of dollars of dental work to get my wisdom teeth (that never came in) pulled.. I asked them how they were going to do that. They wanted to do surgery. I asked them why? Ive never had a problem with them. They said it would be best. Came to North Vermilion Family dental. They have never brought it up. 15 years later, I still have my wisdom teeth and they have still never given me any problems. I think I woyld have had more issues if I had them removed. They arent pushy and wonderful. I couldnt be happier with them. Even when I moved to Champaign-Urbana I still came out to North Vermilion Family Dental, because I liked them that much.

Jesse Roberts I went in for my first screening in December, and they were very thorough with explaining my results! They did a great job explained the steps we needed to take in order to get my smile back. Fast forward a couple of months, now any major work has been dealt with and Im back to just needing routine cleanings like normal! They did a great job. My Oral Hygienist, Kenia, is very respectful and made sure I understood everything over the course. Its very reassuring to have comfort and confidence in the people who are helping you! They will take good care of you!

Terri Freiman The staff is wonderful. My gal smelled of cigarettes but everyone is friendly. I felt harassed by the two weeks of texts, emails and phone calls leading up to my appointment. There is room for better communication about what is being done. Over all I’m pleased with my experience.

Dr. Nelson makes you feel relaxed, she takes the time to greet you and ask about your family. It has a family feel to it. I have never had an issue with my dental work or with any scheduling. They are accommodating to work around my schedule.

Bella Marie In the past I have had terrible experiences at the dentist. Every lady in that building was so genuine and helpful. I went in very nervous and came out very hopeful. I’ve never had someone take the time to do a mouth cancer screening or even test my gums and explain what was happening! I will be returning to get all of my work done with them! Highly recommend!

Don Brewer Ive always been really nervous about going to the dentist but Dr. Conover instills me with confidence with both her professionalism and her easygoing bedside manner. She is the absolute best. The tiny lady at the front desk (whose name escapes me currently; sorry!) is awesome as well. She put a ton of effort into figuring out how to maximize my dental insurance benefits and reach my goals with the lowest out of pocket possible. The level of care at this facility is top notch.

avery dawson Not too long ago, Arrived and sat in the waiting room for 20 minutes to even see the receptionist for my appointment in 30. The chairs had hair and crumbs on it, and on the floors i could visibly see dirt. The rooms were fairly clean but very small which is why im giving it a 3 star, instead of a 2. The cleaning girl was nice, and talked to me when I was getting my x-ray, which went fine. However, when she started brushing my teeth she hit my tooth hard with the equipment and said nothing not even sorry. while brushing she was very rough and almost just working fast to get it done carelessly. if you’re looking for a place with all around good service and treatment, this would not be good, but if you’re looking for something quick yes.

Amber Hardy The staff was very friendly and prompt! Myself and my two daughters arrived and we were immediately taken back to the exam room. All three appointments completed in less than 30 minutes. Returned again today a week later for a single follow up appointment. As always I’m impressed with their efficiency and speed. Also making sure to never leave anyone sitting being ignored for long periods of time. Highly recommended.

Mia Woods This establishment falsely advertises itself as a full-service dental office, leading people to believe they offer comprehensive dental care, when in reality they only provide cleaning and X-ray services. They also incentivize positive reviews by offering e-cards, so the reviews may be compensated and not genuine. I need to emphasize that they misled me twice over the phone, assuring me they could help my 15-year-old son who was in pain. I made it clear that if they only performed cleanings and X-rays, I needed to know so I could find another dentist. Despite this, they repeatedly insisted that they provided full dental services, and their website claims they specialize in pediatric dentistry and oral surgery. Ultimately, they gave us a referral sheet to find another dentist, leaving my son in pain for several days while we hoped for relief. He also missed half a day of school. Frankly, they should be ashamed of their actions. THERE REVIEWS ARE PAID BY E-CARDS THEY TRIED TO BRIBE ME

If you have the correct accepted insurance, paying is never a problem. The DDS Lilo is so honest, professional and respectful. She will leaving you laughing as well. She has a fantastic group of assistants as well. They are all great.

When I have a concern they always squeeze him in the same day. All of their staff is great, office is clean and kid friendly. They also accept Medicaid which is awesome. 10/10 recommend ! ❤️

Samantha Corn Great doctor just a long wait to be seen even with an appointment. Called when I arrived for my sons 1115 appointment and was told they would let me know when a room was available for us waited an hour out in the car. When we finally got to the room we seen the doctor for maybe 5 minutes cause they were busy and then left all for a med check which he had been on this medication for over a year. Again love the doctor but the office I feel needs a new system for better patient care.

My son is almost 8 and doesnt stop talking through the appointments and they always listen,never shut him down and make him feel heard. Natalia Rogers i do not recommend them at all. this whole situation is leaving me depressed. $7000 worth of money and time for it to end up like this. my dad threw a fit at one of my appointments we were so close with being done with treatment. they would always mention how im paste due on my treatment. in reality my teeth just needed for time to straighten and they didnt want to do that. its like they wanted me out of there because its been almost 3 years so they had their chance and took it when its supposed to be their job for a patient to have them walk out with perfect teeth. we paid all this money for the whole treatment not just some of it. my dad threw a fit at one of my appointments they got upset about it and declared a refund for next month and theyll take them off knowing that the treatment isnt over yet and my braces were broken. i went a whole month with broken braces. we even had to have a family dentist fix them for me because they wouldnt. they kicked my dad out my aunt had to take me. im innocent in this situation. its so unfair and a shame. they are a waste of time and money and breath. im the only person thats ever walked out of there with crooked teeth retainers. i have to have unleveled droopy teeth for the rest of my life. they molded the retainers with my unleveld teeth. im so mad about this.

Samantha Rennaker Dr. King and his staff are great. I have one that is getting ready to get braces and another who isn’t ready yet but will be. Having your kids checked early is a good thing so they can address any issues that may need work before it’s time for braces. I love that Dr. King doesn’t come across as being in the profession just for the money but to fully help his patients achieve the smile they want.

Emily Collins Words cant begin to encompass my anger and discouragement. Very poor bedside manner, no one comes to check in on you, no one communicates and when you use the remote to check for anything, youre the biggest inconvenience and get a first class helping of attitude. Worst of all, they dont listen to you and treat you like less than a number. The chairs are SO uncomfortable and the staff would rather spend more time on their phones horsing around than actually caring for patients. Not only that, but they cant seem to decide on which diagnosis to give. This is the 3rd time Ive tried going here and each time it just gets worse. Youre better off seeking medical services from Doc McStuffins. And the charge nurse? She needs FIRED. If you hate people that much to where you feel the need to be so rude and disrespectful without reason, find a different occupation.

Brody McCool If I could leave this place a negative star I would. Absolutely no resource’s for any of the employees to figure out anything. I lost my grandfather because this place couldn’t figure anything out and pro longed an issue to get life lined to their sister company in Peoria who had the right equipment and knowledge but it was too late. They waited 4 days to get him life lined out when they knew they couldn’t help him. Piss poor money management !!!!! This place needs help and the right equipment and tools for these people to save lives. If you are hurt or dying go to carle in Champaign urban or make a drive to a better facility!!!!! It might just be a life saving decision to not come here!!!! Shame on the owners of this company the CEO should step down and be ashamed for running such a piss poor company, making billions of dollars off insurance but can’t have tools, equipment to save people’s lives!!!!!

Matt Bentzinger It had been a while since I had been to the dentist and because of that, I was nervous and also a bit ashamed of myself for it. Never once did I feel judged or anything like. The staff was amazing from the time I called to make the appointment through the initial exam and cleanings, and everything else. They always made sure I was comfortable and knew what was happening. I highly recommend Dr. Hawk and his staff. They are true caring professionals.

Matthew Maudlin Many years ago, I was without insurance and visited another dental office after receiving a postcard offer too good to pass up. That dentist found a problem with a tooth and would not even CLEAN my teeth until I agreed to pay over $1,000 to fix the problem. I left there and on a recommendation visited Dr. Hawks office for a second opinion. He told me that if the tooth did not cause me pain, we could just watch it until it does cause problems. Many years later, I still do not have problems with that tooth! Often its hard to find someone that will consider your best interests first. I trust Dr. Hawk and his staff and will not go anywhere else. They know me there and I appreciate being known. And their staff must love it as well because so many have been there longer than I have! Could not say enough good things about this office.

Erin Bechtel I can’t say enough great things about Danville Family Dentistry. I contacted the office full of anxiety and a mouth full of dental issues. From the first phone call, I was treated with kindness and Dr. Stickley and Kody put me at ease. The entire staff helped me navigate my anxiety and figuring out how to deal with the issues as cost effectively as possible. Shout out to hygienist, Courtney, too! From the moment I sat with the hygienist, Courtney , she took her time, explained everything and was thorough with my care. Brenda Ottarski In December 2024, I had a back molar extracted. Dr. Anderson and his staff were very pleasant and helpful. I opted for general anesthesia, which was the best choice for me.

Y Y Had a referral from my dentist to have Dr. Anderson extract my tooth. I should have turned around immediately and listened to my gut. The front receptionist was not at all friendly. My 12 yr. old daughter accompanied me to the office but she was not allowed back to where I would be. The receptionist looked highly annoyed that I brought her. My daughter said the receptionist and other staff were talking negatively about other patients. As Dr. Anderson got started on my tooth, I instantly had a reaction to the numbing injection. I felt as if my heart was going to beat out of my chest. I instantly also had a major headache, one I have never experienced before. I started to cry and the older blonde assistant rolled her eyes at me and stormed off. I will never forget it, the lack of patient empathy from her. I still was not numb enough so Dr. Anderson injected me again because I still wanted to proceed with the extraction. He assured me that I was just having anxiety and that I wouldnt have that reaction again, but I did. At that time I had had enough and was distraught, but they wouldnt let my daughter come back to comfort me. She could hear everything up front and was terrified. I noticed at that time my vision became blurry. I couldnt stand or walk. They had to call my husband to come get me to drive me home. I left in a wheelchair. Turns out I had a STROKE in the dentist chair. I am 45 yrs old with no prior history of this. After a month in the hospital and 5 months of physical therapy I am finally able to write this. I just wish Dr. Anderson had taken my blood pressure before the procedure. I also wish his staff cared more about their patients instead of just working to get a paycheck. Make sure to ask what exactly is being injected and check your blood pressure before any procedures.

Chelsey Starwalt Dr. Anderson does require full payment upfront and your insurance will reimburse you. He and his staff have always been awesome with my family and I and he always calls to check up on you and you get his number if you have any issues.

ROCHELLE GARY I have been attending this facility for almost 2 years now and have received some of the best service ever! The nurses and receptionist are all kind and helpful and my doctor is always willing to listen. When I was first going, in 2015, the wait times were ridiculous - almost 45 minutes late! Now, since they have added more staff and require appointments for all services, even labs, things are going smoothly. Only on rare occasions do I have to wait more than 10 minutes to get into my appointment. Their new Patient Portal keeps me from having to call in or go in to make appointments or get refills for medication. My only problem is with the lab company - they need to check their equipment for accuracy; Ive had to go in multiple times for a blood draw because they said it was not enough in the tube - fix it Labcorp!!

Always so helpful/understanding and do their best to help me when I need it! I definitely never have received the type of genuine care from other hospitals or care aid facilities like I have from them; talk bad about Danville, talk bad about aunt Martha’s but these women are real life everyday heros! ❤️

Mia Harrier My three-year-old had a dental emergency recently. Dr. Cooney and her staff were wonderful! She spoke to me directly and frankly, and I was able to get a much needed referral. I have not experienced such care from a dentist since I was a child myself. I definitely plan to bring my children and family for our preventive care in the future!

Mark Frobose This dentist, Dr. Hardy, is a complete arrogant incompetent quack. Foot in mouth disease is HIS dental problem. Very impolite, insults patients for being in dental pain, and to top it off, he is not a very good dentist. I was warned not to see him by a trusted relative. I ignored her advice and I paid the price. There are many other good dentists in Danville in much better locations that I believe will serve you better.
