Lus Ruiz Both the dentist and the dental assistants were great as far as the back. They did super well with both of my toddlers and were super patient with them. I believe they had 4 receptions in the front who had horrible attitudes and not customer friendly. I called about 5 times with no answer due to me being a little late. I heard phone ringing and no one would answer them just talking and on their phones.

Tommy Gaffey Pretty horrible. I have always had a good experience with Dr Gao. However, I had heart surgery a year ago and she cleared me for heart surgery with dental work. A filling on my wisdom tooth fell out. She told me it was to hard of a tooth to fill I guess, and she could extract it. I need clearance for warfarin and antibiotics. She gave me a form to fill out. So I took it and left, quite annoyed. I feel if it needed extraction, we should have done that before surgery. Now I have to prepare for dental work. I got home and my cardiologist told me to have them fax it directly to him. I called back to Dental Dreams to ask them to please send the form if they could. I was told I left without stopping at the desk to get the paper scanned, so Ill need to take it to my cardiologist myself. Just taking it to him is not a easy task. Now I am here with huge hole in the side of my tooth, while its not constantly painful, its extremely sensitive and deep. She told me a antibiotic would be called in, it was not.( Im not 100% sure i can take them but its better than an infection in my tooth that is dangerous for me with a mechanical heart valve.) Im checking for different dentists in the area. She should be ashamed of herself and her staff. She acted amazing and caring before my surgery when she did the work to clear me for surgery. I thought since it was her filling that failed, and if she knew it would fail, why wait till now to remove it. Or at least make it right. But not faxing the paperwork is just disgusting. I hope she and her staff have the day they deserve

Nate Yater I recently visited Dental Dreams and unfortunately, my experience was below expectations. From the moment I arrived, I felt rushed through the entire process. The staff seemed more focused on moving patients through quickly rather than ensuring a comfortable and thorough visit. The dentist barely took the time to explain what was being done, and there was no discussion about a treatment plan or next steps. I left the office feeling uncertain about my dental health and what, if anything, needed to be addressed in the future. A good dental visit should include clear communication and a sense of care for the patient’s concerns, but I didn’t get that here. I hope they can improve on taking the time to engage with patients rather than making the experience feel like an assembly line.

Megan Ramsden I genuinely don’t know what to say. I don’t recommended coming here for any kind of dental emergency. They will not help you. They will send you out the door after barely looking in your mouth, telling you to call other places to see if those places will help you instead. And they’ll also send your prescription to the completely wrong place. Good luck. Go somewhere else. I would have had better luck going to the hospital. I still honestly might.

Danny Gomez The assistant was on point and knew what she was doing. Very welcoming and considerate. I believe her last name was Soto, that’s what the person at the front counter said. The doctor was amazing. I like her work ethics and how determined she was to get me smiling again. Might not be the fancy dentist office but I don’t care, the work done to me is what matters. I’ll be back for treatment.

Andrew Erdmann Just DONT DO IT, both locations Rockford/Machesney are careless, I arrived 30 minutes early, didnt get me back to a chair until an hour after my scheduled appointment, if you have medical card, they will take cash visits first while you sit and the nerves build up, they just stuck the cotton swab with the numbing stuff under my tongue, didnt explain where it was supposed to go then proceed to stick the needle in the BACK OF MY MOUTH AWAY FROM THE NUMBING SWAB, hit a nerve and SHOT A HORRIBLE PAIN LIKE ELECTRICITY THROUGH MY WHOLE FACE.....yanked on the tooth for an hour, then proceed to tell me they gotta numb me again as they cant get it out and have to possibly sit another 2 hours......I get that some people have no choice with their medical card but PLEASE get a second opinion!! You can have dental dreams email you with the xrays to take elsewhere.....they told me I needed surgery and have to go to Chicago, that was a lie!!! Got a second opinion and got it pulled without needing surgery, cost me 300$ and I was in and out in less than 45 minutes elsewhere. DD is garbage, will NEVER recommend them!! -10/10 unprofessional and careless.

Jan Fosse Our daughter needed braces and we were referred to Dr. Cheng from our dentist, and we couldnt be happier - the facility is clean and ultra modern, Dr. Cheng is attentive and friendly and great with kids, and the assistants are top notch! Kayla is so good with our daughter that we hope to get her every time we come in. The Cheng Bucks are a fun incentive for the kids as well - when you walk in and see all the options available if you keep good habits and do well in all your appointments, how could you not want to be a good partner in your own care? It has been a real motivator in our house! Everyone is gentle and sensitive to the fears and needs of children, and getting in for a recheck or an adjustment couldnt be easier - the staff at the front desk are awesome!! The financial side of things is very reasonable and they make every effort to make your childs braces as affordable as possible. 100/10 all across the board!

Rachel Wilson We have had a great experience using Dr. Cheng for our 7 year olds early intervention treatment. Working with such young children for this kind of treatment can be difficult and everyone was always very patient and kind. We’re so happy with our new smile!

Walter Spearman Immediately I was greeted by the receptionist with a welcoming smile and attitude. It definitely made me feel comfortable, due to the fact this was my first visit. The dental hygienist was equally as welcoming and friendly as the receptionist.Very thorough and informative every step of the way during the process. I never had to wonder what she was doing in the process , she explained everything point by point. Obviously, kindness is contagious here. The doctor and the young lady that went over my insurance, were also very helpful and polite. I apologize for not remembering the names of the staff that cared for me. Nonetheless, thank you for such a pleasant experience. The rest of my day was better because of it.

Caleb G I had a filling fall out and was planning on looking for a new dentist. I noticed Burch Dental was close to home so I went online to see what other people thought of them. It was mostly positive so I checked if my insurance was taken by them and it was. I stopped by and made an appointment. A reasonable time frame was given. My mouth was sensitive where the filling had exited the premises. My experience with the staff was great and they dental assistant/hygienist showed me exactly where the filling was suppose to be. The dentist was nice, he refilled my tooth and took care of a small cavity in the same area. My gums in that area feel normal again. Communication about the appointment and necessary required information was quick.

I started going there last year & I wish I had found them sooner. The customer service aspect is amazing. Mark Ritchie The reason for my visit to Machesney Park Family Dental was do to an insurance change. I had been seeing my last dentist for several years and was not happy about the forced change. I found the facility was very clean, and the staff members were informative, considerate and professional. The test equipment seemed to be the latest technology and used correctly. I had a full evaluation and cleaning performed and wasnt told I needed more work then required, based on my last dentist visit from six months ago. The pricing was within insurance guidelines. The work performed was thorough and completed in a timely manner. All aspects of the evaluation were explained using terms I understood. Im pleasantly surprised to have found this dental group. Im confident they will provide me the care I need.

I cant say enough positive things about Dr Hermanson, Dr Dimke, & every staff member who works with them, & this is coming from an anxious individual w/lifelong sensitive gums, who has had to spend alot of time there, all of it postive. Its also the best, & only teeth cleaning Ive had that didnt leave me w/a headache & gums too tender to eat for few days-and it was also the most thorough cleaning Ive had. Id send my loved ones here, in fact my Mom was a patient, & Dad still is. Monica Arbetman My husband and I have been going to Riverside Dental for many years and always have had a great experience with our hygienists and Dr Hermanson. I brought my 3 year old in for her first cleaning today and Austin was her hygienist and he was great with her. He was patient and talked her through everything that he was doing. She even got to take home Spoon the office dog/mascot stuffy which she proudly showed off to everyone when she got home. I’m very pleased with how they handled a new young patient and definitely recommend Riverside Dental.

Young Lee My son (9 years old) loved this place!! We had a tooth extraction in a tough location of my son’s mouth, but Dr Lu and the whole staff made him feel comfortable and at ease the whole time!! Dr Lu made sure to explain everything so we both understood what was going to happen and she made the whole process simple and painless! Rachel Maiella I have always had really bad dental anxiety and was very nervous for my first appointment at this office. Everyone I interacted with once I arrived made me feel as comfortable as possible. Huge shout out to Tina and my doctor Novin Pishevar. Tina was the first person I talked to when walking into the office. I dont know if she could tell, but I was an anxious mess internally. She has such a kind and calming personality. I am extremely greatful that she was the first person I got to talk to at the office. She set the tone for the rest of my visit. Doctor Pishevar did an amazing job explaining my issues, what he wanted to do to help me, and why he wanted to take that approach. I wish all doctors took the time with their patients like he did with me. Doctor Pishevar told me, We want make sure you have the most pleasant experience possible and make sure you are comfortable. The second he said those words, I immediately calmed down and felt safe in his hands. I could feel he truly cared about my case and wanted to do what he could to help. I never felt like I was just another patient he needed to quickly get through so he could move on to the next. I dont know if this staff has gone through training to deal with anxious patients, but it sure feels like they have. I feel incredibly lucky to have Doctor Pishevar as my doctor. I will always be anxious when going to the dentist, but knowing I get to have him working on my case relaxes me so much. I wish all dental offices had staff like the staff at Featherstone.

Pamela Siwek Everything about this office is wonderful. The financial person was friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. I had a dental implant and the procedure went well, the discharge instructions covered everything I needed to know. The Doctor took time to answer all my questions. The implant healed quickly. (Note: I did follow all instructions given.) Office is sparkling clean and all the equipment was modern. Every employee was friendly and helpful.

Amy D If I could give 10 stars I would. I have always been terrified of dentists and avoided going until absolutely necessary. Not only were they super quick and super efficient, they were kind, understanding and supportive. I felt very relaxed, they offer aromatherapy, warm neck pillows, blankets and a warm washcloth when done. I only took advantage of the wash cloth but was nice to know it was available. Amy was beyond caring and kept my mind distracted while Dr Moore did my root canal. They are up to date with technology and procedures. I honestly can’t say enough good things about here and though I hope I don’t need anymore I would definitely go back here if or when needed. I should add as well that they were able to get me in super quickly which was amazing since I had been in a lot of pain for at least a week before finally getting it looked at.

Veronica Mathews They were great! 13 teeth removed in about 1.5 hours, including being under anesthesia. No problems after surgery. They prepared me for everything and even gave me chapstick. They used dissolvable stitches, so need to go return.

Gin O Ive had a prior extraction done here. Drs did well even with the trismus (limited opening) from past jaw fracture. Sedation helped the jaw open. The Drs were very kind and skilled with alot of experience. The front desk reception are good natured and helpful unlike some other places. Hopefully my next extraction will go smoothly like the last. Thanks for making an anxiety filled and painful experience easier.

The entire staff is so thorough and efficient Id say this is by far one of the better offices in all in this area.

Mary Hanford I am very happy with Dr Stewart and her office. They are all friendly and caring a good at their jobs. I have back and knee problems so sitting back in the dentist chair can be painful, but they always offer pillows to make it easier. They all get an A+ in my opinion.

liz hoffman I initially went to doc for a second opinion after another provider indicated I needed Invisalign. They indicated I risked having my front bottom teeth crumble if I did not get this done. That visit was a very jarring experience for me as I had never had any serious dental concerns or to be advised my teeth placement was incorrect. Following that visit, I became very skeptical of any “necessary” work and nervous about going back to the dentist. Dr. Chung had requested my X-rays from this previous appointment ahead of time and they did not provide them in a readable format. His dental assistant told me that they would need to do x-rays; Doc and his assistant (unfortunately) became on the receiving end of my concern and frustration that I would be paying to have these X-rays done since my insurance had already been billed from the other provider. They both sympathized where my concern came from. Dr. Chung promised he would do the minimum X-rays needed and I would not be paying for this 2nd round of x-rays as it was his practice and he would eat the cost in necessary. I never received a charge for those X-rays and his visit saved me $3000-4000 of dental work that was deemed necessary by another provider. He and his staff are warm, kind, and honest. Everytime I am there the other patients (and staff) are jovial—which is quite an oxymoronic statement for a dentist’s office but that must just be the Dr. Chung effect!

LeRoy Hada I have been taking all of our kids here for the last 10 years or so. Dr. Hansen and all of his staff are very kind and gentle with my kids. My kids have always been very comfortable going here.

muna chassib I had a terrible experience at Dr. Hansens dental office, and I feel the need to warn other parents. My 5-year-old son was told he needed fillings, and I expressed my concern that he would not tolerate the procedure. The doctor and his staff reassured me that he wouldn’t feel anything and would be asleep during the process. I trusted them and paid for the numbing, expecting a smooth procedure. When I brought my son in, they instructed me to wait outside. As I sat there, I could hear a child screaming uncontrollably, but I assumed it was another patient. After nearly 30 minutes of hearing the same cries, I asked about my son’s condition only to find out that the child screaming in pain was, in fact, my son. I was in complete shock. When I confronted the staff, they denied ever telling me he would be asleep and only said he "wouldn’t feel anything" which was clearly not the case. My son was traumatized, crying, and in visible distress when he came out. Fast forward to two months later, during a routine check-up in November, I was told everything looked fine. However, by January, my son started complaining about his tooth. When I called Dr. Hansens office, they couldn’t see him the same day and told me to bring him in on Wednesday. Thankfully, I decided to take him to a different dentist instead. To my horror, the new dentist discovered that my son had an infection, and the fillings Dr. Hansen had placed were already falling out. Even worse, every tooth that Dr. Hansen had worked on was only half-filled, which led to the infection. Because of this negligence, my son had to undergo tooth surgery to remove his four front teeth. This entire experience has been traumatic for him, and now he is terrified of dentists. I cannot recommend this office to anyone. Their dishonesty, poor-quality work, and lack of concern for my child’s well-being have caused my family so much stress and pain. If you care about your child’s dental health, I urge you to stay away from Dr. Hansens office.

Kylie Thomas I can’t thank Dental Designers enough for the incredible care I received! I needed a root canal and some cosmetic fixes to my front teeth, and the results are amazing. I was put under sedation. I can now smile with such confidence, something I haven’t been able to do in years! Dr. Hansen and his team were outstanding from start to finish. They made me feel comfortable and at ease the entire time, always ensuring I was well taken care of. The professionalism, kindness, and attention to detail were top-notch.
