Nashina Fisher Had a very positive experience. Staff were kind and supportive. The dentist was knowledgeable and made sure I had all of the information, as well as pros and cons, when making a decision regarding the next steps in my dental care. I can honestly say this was my first positive experience at a dental office in my almost 50 years.

Bagby Christine (Tine) The lady dr that I had was very friendly and kind. I had to get a tooth pulled and she could tell i was nervous. She made sure I knew what she was doing, what to expect, and care afterwards. She made sure I was fully numb unlike other dentists Ive been to. She didnt just yank and pull either she actually cut and then pulled and it was soooo much less pressure. I highly recommend her although I cant remember her name. I appriciated her bedside manner more than shell ever know ❤️

Gabrielle I went here for many years when I got braces and had them removed - all of that went great. However, when my retainer broke and I had to get a replacement, they told me it’d be $400 and that they sent me a letter saying I only had a certain amount of time to come by to get it situated, but I never received such letter. Highly disappointed in the retainer scenario, as my oral hygiene is important to me and I would’ve enjoyed coming by to see about a new retainer replacement with helpful and convenient pricing.

brooklyn lyles as someone who had a bad experience from a dental office as a kid, i was hesitant about moving forward with my treatment plan regarding needles due to my anxiety. however, trish/trisha the hygienist was very kind to me during my recent appointment. she spoke in a calm manner in which allowed a significant reduction in my nerves, so thank you for that! dr funmi & her assistant were awesome at helping me try to remain calm during my procedure as well. i have finally conquered one of my greatest fears, and wouldn’t have been able to do it without their humor, kindness, and compassion, so thank you very much everyone!

Kristin Myers The staff is excellent. Everyone I talked to.. front desk, office manager, hygienist, Dr. K. But, specifically my dental hygienist Kyle. Kyle went above and beyond listening, making sure I was comfortable, and being open about each step when I wasnt sure if insurance was covering everything. He even scheduled my next cleaning during his lunch break to accommodate my schedule. I will keep coming to him as long as he is around!

Julie Songer The best experience I e ever had with the dentist. I’ve been many places over the years. I had A LOT of work done in one appointment. The first time I’ve NEVER experienced ANY pain at all. My Dr (forgot the name) filled 7 cavities in one appt (my choice) along with those fillings..all the filled teeth needed a cosmetic makeover. He was a perfectionist and thank God he was. What a blessing to have such horrible teeth look brand new because of him. He made sure I was comfortable thru the whole 2 hr process and asked frequently if I needed a break. I’ve finally found my future dentist forever! The entire office staff including dental techs and receptionists were the friendliest I e ever dealt with. Highly highly recommend.

Eric Miller Ive been coming here since I was a kid and always saw Dr. McKone. After he retired, I considered switching with all the trouble they had during Covid. Very glad I stayed, Dr. Bassi awesome. Shes very quick, and efficient, and theres no feeling of being rushed through anything. My teeth look and feel much better than they have in a long time.

JoAnn Saloga Dr was very kind and understanding about my circumstances. She didn’t shame me for what happened to me and explained to me best steps going forward. Also, before she did anything, she got to know me as this was my first visit. I cannot understand reviews that say she is rude, I loved my time at the dentist!

Kay Cloyes I was very happy that the wait time was minimal. They quickly identified what I needed and scheduled follow up appts very promptly. I have waited to take care of this issue so I am very glad I don’t have to wait longer.

Lisa Frost Would give 5 star but even with appointment, your wait time is a lot longer than my previous dentist I had who retired. Ive been going here for 2yrs seeing Dr Balan & then she moved back to their Chicago location so dentist turnover seems to be commonplace here. Technology & dental hygienists are good as are front desk staff. Convenient location in East Peoria with plenty of parking.

I have been going to her for my 6 month cleaning for 2 years now, and she does very detailed work on my teeth. She takes her time explaining what is going on. And to top it off, she is so kind with my young son, answering his many questions with excitement and patience. All of the staff have been friendly and truly care!

Sarah Darling-Robinson Ive never gone to a "dentist" and had a good experience. That was until I came here. First let me say how amazing they did on my smile. They also didnt pressure me into purchasing anything I didnt need. There were recommendations made for other services but when I declined it was respectfully accepted and we carried on service. The girls up front are awesome. Super nice, gave me all my details. And when the finished product came in they both came back to see and tell me what they thought. Jayden was super nice and made sure I knew everything I needed to know. He worked with the Dr to get my tryins just right. The Dr was great and he took his time making sure everything was just right. He also gave me all the education on what we were doing and how it works. Also,I wish I had her name, but the woman there who recognized me from another office always comes to say hi to me! She makes me feel like a friend, and told me I made the right choice coming in! She is very sweet and honest and thats hard to find these days.Then there is Diya! What a bright light she is. I hope her boss knows how valuable she is. She knows what she is doing, she took the time to listen to me, and made her own suggestions that really helped me. She noticed my speech was difficult and fixed it right away. I have gone back in for a few adjustments and every time she helps quickly knows what Im talking about and listens and values it. All of the employees here are very nice, feel like friends, and know their stuff! I have never felt more confident and welcome in a place! I really appreciate every single person in the office for all their care and help towards bringing my smile back !! Yall changed my life!!! Thank you so much!!

Jason King-Andreini I have used Affordable Dentures franchises in California and now Peoria and can say there has never been a disappointment. Dr Quitos office is professional, thorough, polite and FUN! Everyone was terrific. See Diya, she is amazing and remarkably talented! The teeth are more than I had originally hoped for with customization of a larger size than Ive had before. The doctor did a great job of capturing alignment (as attested to by the ribs and apple I ate this weekend without flinching or whining once.) I had been told by several private dentists - size enlargement could just not happen. There was never a second where I didnt feel like the priority. Id give a sixth star just for the people youll get to meet! Go now. Ps. Its false teeth, people.. Please dont bite the hand that is making the tools that feed you. Be nice. Yes, your mouth may be a little soar, or you may be cranky cause it is tough to eat. I heard several people just complaining for the sake of complaining and being just plain mean to the staff. Dont be a D/CK and greet and treat people with a little civility and youll be amazed at how much better your whole experience is going to be.

Brandon Zimmerman The front staff are amazing and super nice and super knowledgeable , the dentists are very detailed and understanding and they all work with you to get everything you need. This is by far the best place I have been to in the peoria area. Will always go here from now on and will recommend to all of my friends and family for sure.

Jodi Day What a great experience I had at Secure Dental in East Peoria. The facility is beautiful and so clean. Staff was super nice. I was amazed how painless Dr. Choi made my visit. Having a fear of going to the dentist is real but after being treated by Dr. Choi and her easy touch and knowledge and professionalism were top notch. I won’t hesitate going to the dentist when it’s at Secure Dental. From the initial visit, treatment plan and receiving services it was a smooth painless process! Kiddos to the front desk ladies! Big smiles and so sweet! The assistant Emma was fantastic! I’m super impressed with the staff!! Thank you! I will continue my teeth health journey with Secure Dental and Dr. Choi!

Donna Dalrymple Ive been going to Secure Dental for over two years. I have seen Dr. Choi. I had sensitivity on front teeth from cavities at the gum line. It was recommended to get crowns. I told her that I didnt think it would help. But, I agreed. It didnt help & ended up having all my teeth pulled supposedly due to cavities....which Im not even sure i needed. Because I find it hard to believe i had cavities on every single tooth. I find it more likely all the teeth were pulled so that dentures could be done. But, regardless they were pulled & i agreed. It took quite awhile to get all teeth pulled & to actually begin process of getting dentures. There was a mistake in the beginning. Staff misspelled my last name when sending the wax impressions to lab & it took extra time. Because the lab had no idea what office to match up with. I kept getting told when I called that they just werent back yet. Finally got the office manager involved and she found out what happened. Now its been a year and three months since my first teeth were pulled. Ive had all kinds of trouble not being able to get bottom dentures to stay down. Have been told different things to try to help. Nothing works. Have also been told i have bone loss. Now Ive been told i need two implants because of bone loss. Which I cant afford & dont want to go into debt for. So, I guess Ill continue to go without teeth. Granted, they were going to do it for a significantly lower price because of how long Id been messing around with things. But, the thing is, it shouldnt have taken going on a year and four months to complete the process. If it hadnt taken so long to start with i may not have had the amount of bone loss I did. Also, this possibility WASNT EXPLAINED clearly to me before my teeth were pulled. Although, Dr. Choi says it was. I can say that the staff members are friendly & helpful. Also, they took my insurance. I didnt have to pay any copays. However, Id rather have went somewhere else and had better results...instead of a full set of dentures paid for by insurance, that are useless. Secure Dental, you need to do better by your patients!

Andrew Davis Looks like another Melissa Review! Been going to this place for a couple years now. The dental hygienist that work at this place do a great job, however Melissa takes the cake! One of the most arrogant entitled attitudes Ive ever came across. Makes my Ex look like a saint! The issue Ive had multiple times is basically not receiving their email/text reminders causing issues with appointments. The final issue was a $202.00 bill they sent to collections that I had no idea even existed. When I called today to reschedule my appointment (4 days in advance) Super receptionist Melissa informed me they cancelled my appointment???? The second I asked why in confusion, she began to tell me in a very condescending way that I dont pay my bills and I ignore them. I have not received any phone calls, texts, email, or physical mail showing that I owe a balance. Once I verified through my insurance that it was in fact legit, I paid it immediately (with 30 mins of discovering the bill existed). Bottom line is that there are TONS of places in the area to receive dental care, you dont have to put up with this ladys Crap! Dont take my word for it, just look at all the reviews that call her out directly! Any five star review apparently doesnt have anything to do with her. Apparently she also has a thing about making fun of people with autism. Youll find multiple reviews stating that as well! Have a great day!

Lisa Sprague We are new to River City Family Dentistry and we were pleased with the first impressions of Dr. Renner and the dental hygienists. Unfortunately, we had a very bad experience with the front desk receptionist, Melissa. Her customer service skills are definitely lacking. Over the phone, she was extremely rude and did not allow me to express myself. When I asked her to please stop interrupting me she continued to do so and proceeded to say she would not stop interrupting me. I have never felt more disrespected as a patient in any medical office before. I don’t know if this is her first office job but she definitely needs some more customer service experience and training.

Abbey Briscoe Dr. Renner and her staff understand families. We brought only 2/3 of our busy boys and ourselves and felt immediately like family. They were accommodating of our curious boys and even helped channel that energy by putting them to work and allowing them to help change out the Valentine’s Day decorations to St. Patrick’s Day. The staff was patient, sweet, and sincere with an already stressed mom and dad to channel the curious nature young kids have in a new environment. Thank you for your patience and understanding. We can’t wait to come back.

Doug Whitney That is the best money I’ve ever spent. My mouth is totally complete now as I have received a tooth implant and Dr. R did a fantastic job of filing it down and making it fit perfect! It’s been about a week and I have not had any problems or issues. It’s very comfortable and fitting perfect. I am so happy to have my entire mouth functional now and not having to eat on one side. The assistant for Dr. R was also fantastic as both of them worked well together as a team.. I highly recommend Associates In Dentistry for all of your dental work. Best bang for the buck! Dr. Park was so informative, compassionate and easy to talk to. This is the first dentist I felt at ease with. Cannot say enough wonderful things about him. 100% recommend this team.

Katie H Every single staff I’ve interacted with at this office has been extremely friendly, helpful, informative, and professional. I feel listened to, I feel respected. I have extreme anxiety about dental work, and the staff have been understanding and accommodating with that. The financial aspects have always been communicated well to me and I always feel on the same page with the staff that explain finances. The location is great, it makes my visits slightly less anxiety inducing to see the pretty rock decors put in the office and to see where the birds are fed. All of the small compliments to this place adds up and I am happy this is my dental place.

Tony L Pay attention to your wallet! They will take x-rays once every 6 months and all different dental insurances I ever had only cover you once every 12 months, so I had to pay $55 out of my own pocket. And theyll apply fluoride without asking and no insurance would cover it, so I had to pay $37 for this. For one teeth cleaning visit, my insurance paid more than $100 and I paid more than $90+ out of my own pocket.

Joshua Sommer Only dentist I will go to. Dr Z is the nicest provider I have encountered and explains everything in great detail and answers all my questions. Front end staff are extremely nice and personable. My hygienist Shelly is the only one I let clean my teeth (I’m sure the others are great too but she did such a great job the first time, I stick with her). Not just a dental office, they all feel like friends. Wonderful place!!!!

The entire staff is so dedicated to each individual. It is actually unbelievable positive. If you’re going to a dentist where they are just going through the motion of the day, I encourage you to go to the East Peoria Dental Group and ask for Dr. Hudson. I actually like going to the dentist now.

Ann Mudd-Houston Dr. Vakili does an excellent job. The staff are very friendly and supportive. I hadnt had a filling done in 52 years. Extreme fear of dentists from bad experience back then. Wish Id went to Dr. Vakili sooner. Id have more natural teeth.

Always able to see me when I have a problem and never feel rushed even when they are super busy. And somehow they are always on time. I would give this group many more than 5 stars.

Sylvaranti Definitely have been having a good experience with them. Both the dentist and assistant, as well as the people at the front desk are always so kind and helpful. I also have to state in particular that for my most recent trip, Dr. Shanahan did such a great job of handling the work on my filling. She evened it out really well, so it doesnt feel weird when biting down and over all just feels so natural in my mouth. Definitely an improvement from past experiences with other places. I have, without a doubt, found a great and dependable place to keep coming back to.

Sheila Buralli I chose Maple Shade Dental because of their reputation, and they were spot on. They are wonderful. From the time I walked in the door until the time I walked out, I was welcomed and felt how they cared. It had been several years since my last cleaning at a dentist in Chgo, and I was concerned about the state of my teeth. The dental staff was very reassuring my teeth werent as bad as I thought they would be. They took the time to explain our next steps. I happy Im on my way to a better mouth.

Kyung Dr. Shanahan has provided great dental care for many years. While I will miss him, I now receive great care from Dr. M. Shanahan. I was met with compassion and understanding when I had an issue arise. The issue had nothing to do with Maple Shade, the staff is fantastic. I felt heard and that they truly understood my concerns. Immediate action was taken to comfort me. I am grateful for a compassionate team. Every step was explained and my comfort level was important to them.

Amy Long I took my daughter here. The dental assistants were all very kind to her and did very good making her feel comfortable. They cleaned and sealed her teeth. On the way home the sealant came off. She was also referred out to an oral surgeon by their dentist. They were supposed to email the referral and X-rays to the oral surgeon. I contacted them a week before the appointment and they assured me they would have it to them before my appointment. 2 days before the appointment the oral surgeon’s office still hadnt received it so I called again and this time was told by their customer service they couldn’t reach anyone at the office but they would speak to a manager and make sure it got there. Next day, still nothing! I left multiple messages and never received a call back. When we show up to her appointment they still had not received anything and they ended up just taking their own X-rays. The day after her appointment I get a phone call from the girl who originally was as supposed to send it over. She is calling to ask where she needed to send it! When I told her there was no need and we had her appointment the day before and nothing was sent, she hung up on me! She was very rude!

Heather McG I was apprehensive to schedule here based on reviews I had read, but am glad I did. The waiting area was clean and welcoming. The ladies at the front desk were professional, friendly, and quick getting us checked in. I even witnessed the office manager deal with an unruly client and was impressed that she did so with grace and empathy. Traci and Dr T were fantastic. They both explained everything and were very professional and courteous. Another woman applied my daughters sealants and she was also fantastic. We were there for just the basics- xrays, cleaning, and exam. Overall, we received excellent service, received great communication, and had a great experience. We will be back!

A F Never had a problem before If I could give them zero star I would! The last two appointments wasn’t seen . My son had an appointment at 4:00 arrive about 5 mins before his appointment. Waited , waited waited here’s 5:00 clock is rolling around and staff is leaving, they are changing garbages, clean up, and basically shutting down the office while we are still sitting there . There was never acknowledgement of if they was running behind or why we didn’t get called back from his appointment. The second time, the appointment was for me again came to my appointment a few minutes early and waited at the front desk with no one present , as others was already in there waiting. Finally, minutes later the front desk comes in with a Starbucks coffee in her hand and tells me to sign in’. Signed in and waited! 11 o clock rolls around and finally, get asked by the front desk:Do you have an appointment!?Like are you serious I’m just gone wait and sit in a dental office for fun! Then tells me well you’re going to have to re-schedule! Re-schedule when I come to my both appointments on time and signed in like I was suppose to and waited hours while others walking in got called back before ! Definitely wouldn’t recommend at all this place needs to be re-staffed with people who will actually gone come to work on time and do their job instead of walking in late to work with Starbucks! No urgency or professionalism at all! I’ve called multiple time to speak to corporate or whoever runs this place there is never any urgency from the call center just told sorry,you have to re-schedule . On a search for a new dentist!

They did everything in their power to ensure my appointment went smooth, and that I was totally at ease (I get nervous at the dentist and this was my first visit with them). Ali Wachter Not worth it. Ive made appts with this doctors office many times. At least half of my appts are rescheduled days before I get there. No matter the fact that I have tooth pain and need to be seen, they dont care. they want you to rearrange your schedule with absolutely NO real advance. They want me to schedule a month out but they call me 2 days before to tell me I wont be getting the help I need.

Lisa Bailey Arrived 10 min early for s scheduled appt for an exam/ cleaning. Wasnt taken back until 20 min past appt time. Was given a quote for over $600 for a cleaning! On top of that he quoted another $6000 for additional work that he deemed necessary. ( i have no cavities, or oral health problems. Have been given a clean bill of dental health from 2 dentists prior) This dentist even commented that i have great teeth!!! What a scam bringing people with no dental insurance in on a claim of $29 dollar visit!!! I declined the cleaning and an hour & a half later was on my way- needless to say, i will NOT go back

Jennifer Orlevitch Dr Anderson is one of the most skilled and compassionate dentists I’ve ever known. He is thorough and takes time to evaluate and explain. In urgent matters he will make time to see you whenever needed. In this day and age of large conglomerate dental companies, I am lucky to have a caring private dentist who treats my whole family as his own.

Nicole Kenny Dr. Anderson was AMAZING with my very scared 7 year old girl who came to him with a cavity and an infection in her tooth. I can not thank him enough for seeing us. My daughter is usually very scared of the dentist, but he made the experience so much better. He was so sweet. He explained to her everything he was going to do to help fix her tooth and how it might feel before he did it, which really helped put her mind at ease. His wonderful assistant was amazing too!! I would highly recommend Dr. Anderson to everyone! We had a 10 out of 10 experience! It is very hard to find a good dentist here in Peoria, Illinois…Dr. Anderson is definitely one of the best! Chuck Dixon Dr. Anderson did a great job in filling Darlene’s tooth. He was concerned about her comfort. The cost was reasonable. He is a fine dentist and I recommend him to anyone.
